Includes skis, poles, boots, and a 30-minute lesson so you can hit the slopes confidently. • Full Ski Package – Includes full equipment, ski suit rental, a 2-hour lesson, and a lift pass covering all slopes. Whether you want to learn to ski, enjoy snowy scenery, or spend a fun winter day outside, this flexible tour lets you tailor your ideal experience with easy round-trip transport from Seoul.

Itinerary
We provide convenient, complimentary hotel pickup from the main hotels in downtown Seoul. Alternatively, we also offer three convenient, centrally located, and easily accessible meeting points outside three major subway station exits.
Meeting Point 1: Hongik University (Hongdae) Subway Station Exit 4. You'll find it between AK Plaza and Shake Shack. Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure you are on time.
Meeting Point 2: City Hall Subway Station Exit 6. You'll find it next to The Plaza Hotel. Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure you are on time.
Meeting Point 3: Myeongdong Subway Station Exit 9. You'll find it right in front of the SkyPark III Hotel. Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure you are on time.
As we enter PyeongChang County, we'll have a treat for our eyes as we see the rolling Taebaek Mountains, alpine valleys, and rural farmlands, plus glimpses of Olympic sites like ski jumps.
Next, we'll pass through Yongpyeong township, where the scenery will change to buckwheat fields (summer blooms), traditional hanok villages, and forested hills.
Then, as we enter Daegwallyeong township, where Yongpyong Ski Resort is located, you'll see the scenery change once more to grazing sheep/cows on vast ranches, highland meadows, and snowy peaks, with beautiful views of Balwangsan Mountain and, of course, Yongpyong Resort slopes.
Nestled on majestic Mt. Balwangsan in PyeongChang, Mona Yongpyong reigns as Korea's largest and best ski resort—home to the 2018 Winter Olympics alpine events and the nation's first slopes since 1975. Picture 31 powdery runs, from gentle greens perfect for beginners to black-diamond thrills, all blanketed by 250cm of annual snowfall for that pristine, heart-pounding glide. No skis? No problem! Non-skiers dive into fun with scenic gondola rides, or the Balwangsan Skywalk for jaw-dropping panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and frozen valleys, one of Asia's top winter vistas. (Optional) Those opting for our Full Ski Package (which includes a ski lift pass) or purchasing a separate one-time round-trip gondola ticket can board the Mt.Balwangsan Cable Car. This Gondola-style cable car is Korea's longest sightseeing cable car, a thrilling 7.4km glide over the nation's premier course, whisking you 1,458 meters up to Dragon Peak on majestic Mt. Balwangsan. Launched alongside Yongpyong's pioneering slopes in 1975, this 20-minute ascent unveils hoar-frosted birches, soaring eagles, and the snow-draped Taebaek range, a backdrop featured in K-drama hits like "Goblin". Once you've had your fill at Dragon Peak, you then have two options to make your way back: return on the Yongpyong Gondola Cable Car or, for those brave enough, glide all the way back down on your skis.
(Optional) Those opting for our Full Ski Package (which includes a ski lift pass) or purchasing a separate one-time round-trip gondola ticket can enjoy Mt Balwangsan's peak. Crowning Korea's 13th-highest peak at 1,458 meters, Dragon Peak's Swiss-style Dragon Castle beckons with cozy cafes, Korean feasts, and steakhouses amid eternal snow in winter. Legend whispers it's the "mother mountain" birthing eight kings, surrounded by guardian peaks like Janggun-bong (General's Peak) and Kal-bong (Knife Peak). From the cable car summit, sip pure Balwangsu Mineral Spring water, spot eagles over frozen birch groves, or chase epic snow-draped views to the eastern sea. Drop-off location 2: Exit at Myeongdong to immerse yourself in Seoul's bustling shopping paradise and street food haven, featuring trendy boutiques and the grand Myeongdong Cathedral. Savor hotteok snacks, or people-watch in the neon-lit crowds.

As first time skiers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but this was a great experience! Gogo, our guide, was very good during the lesson and he made sure that we individually knew what we had to work on at the conclusion of our lesson. It was great to feel the progress as we went about the afternoon. Gogo was also a very nice guy in general, which of course translated to the tour being even better still. I would recommend to everyone at all levels. The resort is amazing, the guide is good and the driver and transport are very comfortable.
