The app keeps up with where you are even when you don’t have cell service. Make sure you have a way to keep your phone on charge in your vehicle. It did drain the battery. My husband thought it was strange at first but it did point out to us places to stop that we would have missed without it. The historical information was educational as we drove in the long stretches without anything to stop and see.
Easy to use - great resource - gives good information about each stop at the park and the difficulty level of each trail. Would definitely recommend!
This is a very thorough and informative program to lead us through the parks, with great driving instructions and fun stories and history.
Every other Shaka Guide Tour we used was excellent but the sound didn’t work on this one. We tried everything we could think of on our end but concluded it was a problem with the app. We tried to contact support but could not connect with them.

The drive audio experience was absolutely incredible! My hubby and I both retired from the Navy so really didn't relish being with tons of people every step of the way! This provided exactly what we needed, time together to enjoy the sights. We definitely will use Shaka for any areas they provide this at in the future! This was great! It made our trip! We stopped where we wanted, and skipped what we didn’t want. The tour guides that you listen too are spot on. This was so much more affordable and more personal. I wouldn’t do this park any other way!

Would not have been able to enjoy our trip to both parks without these audio guides. Appreciated the extensive history and opportunities to stop at sites or not based on complexity. Definitely worth the inexpensive investment. Already recommended to friends.

So far we have just listened to the Tetons part (Yellowstone will come tomorrow) but this was so worth every penny paid! Such great background info and fascinating history and stories. No matter where we were the app knew our location exactly and told us when a stop was coming up and when to turn. We really didn’t even need a map of the park to navigate. The app was spot on. I would definitely recommend it.

This app was awesome!! We toured the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone for 5 days and it was like having a private tour without the cost. Highly recommended and we will use this app for future trips to other parks.

This was our first time to visit both Teton National Park and Yellowstone. We had looked at all of our options as far as guided tours etc….a little pricey in our minds. Then I came across Shaka self guided download tours. Sooooo reasonably priced and you can bet your bottom dollar that we were so glad we did. The self guided and narrative tour along with wonderful accompanying music was absolutely phenomenal!! The narrators voice was so pleasant to listen too and soooo informative….it was crazy… I highly recommend this as a great alternative to the other options. I’d definitely buy again and again I’d give Shaka 5 stars!!!!!
