Your Tour Guide will have a brief introduction about the history and geology of the ancient supervolcano - High Island Super Volcano, which is erupted 140 million years ago. How the eruption formed the landscape and geoscape of Hong Kong Today? Why it is so unique in the world? What are the features ?
The Jin Island Cave (Bell Arch) is always the passenger's favourite, as our experienced boatman can take you to traverse through the sea arch by the speedboat to have a closer look, this sea arch is at around 30 meters high. Travelers would stay on the boat and admiring this stunning sea arch. Travelers would spend around 12 minutes here and everyone would have a chance to walk to the boat front for photos time
Praying Hand Cliff, located on Bluff Island in Hong Kong’s Sai Kung, is a stunning rock formation resembling two giant hands pressed together in prayer. Bluff Island Cave is actually a sea tunnel more than a sea cave or sea arch. It's 25 metres above the shoreline and 30 meters long and there's another sea cave right on top of the sea arch. Terrible customer service. I booked a trip they messaged and said there was not enough sign ups to run it and offered an alternative. Gladly accepted and was impressed but it was all down hill from there. I inquired about the new meeting point as the trip was same day within 2 hours and my accommodation was an hour away. After being ignored 3 times when asking about the meeting point the operator cancelled my appointment and stopped answering all messages.
We recently joined the 4-hour Geopark Four Sea Arches Volcano Sightseeing Tour (Yacht Edition) and it was absolutely spectacular! The yacht was incredibly stable, spacious, and comfortable, making the entire journey a breeze. We chose the 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM session, and it was the perfect decision—the soft afternoon light hitting the massive hexagonal volcanic columns was stunning, and heading back while watching the sunset from the water was unforgettable. A special shoutout to our guide, Christina! She was incredibly informative and helpful throughout the entire trip. Not only did she share a wealth of knowledge about the unique geology, history, and culture of the islands, but she also proactively helped us take a ton of beautiful photos at all the best angles. The balance between cruising and the land walks (especially exploring Sharp Island and seeing the "pineapple bun" rocks) was perfect. If you are looking for a hassle-free, scenic, and deeply enriching way to experience Hong Kong's natural wonders, this Splitdyboat tour is a must-do!.
