I had a wonderful time with Lala and her team, as well as the amazing eco-hotel with a tour of the organic garden and lunch prepared by the lovely owner manager herself. She also shared her experience of building her hotel and organic vegetable gardens using found materials from the surrounding forests as well as local craftsmen and artists. -After that we visited the foremost Tibetan tea factory that processed the tea to be sent to Tibet in exchange for horses on the famous horse tea route. Lala is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, what she doesn’t know she will find out for you! She has a deep love of the natural landscape around Chengdu especially the plants and vegetation of the area, and can plan tours and experiences focussed on these as well as seasonal blossoms. Would certainly love to return for one of these. Thank you Lala and team for a wonderful day out. It was a very special, personalised experience.
Dear Seok, Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful and detailed review. We are truly touched that you captured the essence of your experience so beautifully. It was an absolute pleasure to share the story of our eco-hotel and organic garden with you—how we built it with found materials and the help of our wonderful local craftsmen. We're so glad that story resonated with you. Your genuine interest in the Tibetan tea factory and the ancient Horse & Tea Route history made the journey even more meaningful. Your kind words about my guiding mean the world to me. My deep love for Chengdu's natural landscape, especially its unique plants and seasonal changes, is a passion I truly enjoy sharing. I'm already looking forward to your next visit! I have a perfect spot in mind for spring—a hidden valley of wild cherry blossoms where we can enjoy the first tea of the season. We all hope to welcome you back soon for another unique journey through the seasons. With warm regards, Lala and the Entire Team
Got to know Lala when we went in a group of 12 back in September. Language barrier was non existence as Lala speaks fluent English. Hence that eliminates your worries being at a foreign country. Lala is a friendly local who knows the ins and outs of the city and made on point recommendations. Being a foodie, we especially love her recommendations on food and she had been extremely helpful throughout our trip. She's also always going the extra mile. For example, she bought us tea leaves from Mount Er Mei the next day after we casually mentioned about tea leaves. Didn't expect this to happen and it instantly warmed our hearts. In essence, service was tip top and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lala to anyone who wants to visit Chengdu!

This is a great pick for foodies and history buffs alike. Thanks for our beautiful local guide-Lala, who share her secrets on the best places to eat and shop for authentic dishes and ingredients. Lala is also a humorous tour guide, sharing us a lot about the local customs and folklore in Chengdu and the history. I only had one day in Chengdu this time, I hope will visit Chengdu again this year, see you soon Lala
Thank you for your choice. I look forward to giving more people who love to travel a better experience!!
