This tour was a real delight. Our guide Hector was very informative and enthusiastic. The trip along the canals was so entertaining. A stop for lunch in the market was a real highlight. Hector’s knowledge of this area enabled us to find a great place to sit down and enjoy our food.This was followed by a walk through the market. A must for any visitor to Mexico City.

What a wonderful day visiting the canals of Xochimilco. Pick up was smooth and on-time and, though Mexico City’s traffic can be slow, we learned much about the local culture and day ahead from Hector who is a terrific guide. We saw the murals at UNAM and Olympic Stadium before a lovely private boat trip through the canals. After a few beers, posing with some local wildlife and corn on the cob we relocated to a local market and had (and we have had some exquisite food in Mexico City) the best Tostadas of our trip. Highly recommend this tour and we’ll be back in touch with Hector when we return to the city in the future.
