What a pleasant and unexpected ‘Thing to Do’ in a popular Florida beach/space town! Learned about this museum via a Google search for something to do on the second day of a 2-day visit to the area. Turns out the museum had been closed since earlier in the year but after relocating to a new building/zone, it just happened to be reopening on the day we wanted to visit! We happened to be the first customers on this day and while the facility was still in the last minutes of their organization and finishing touches, Fred, the owner, and curator, was kind enough to escort us around and provide many details about the collection and his efforts. I highly recommend this stop be added by visitors to the area. Give yourself at least 2 hours – this will include the ‘Immersive Experience’ about which I am not saying anything so you can be awed without spoilers. Oh, and the ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ room was also a surprising delight.
Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review! It was an absolute pleasure welcoming you as our very first guests at our new location on our opening day. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we put the final finishing touches on the new building. Sharing the history of the collection and the journey of bringing this new space to life with enthusiastic visitors like you is exactly why I love what I do. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the immersive experience and the "I Dream of Jeannie" room—thank you for keeping the secrets safe for future guests so they can experience that same awe! Your high recommendation means the world to us as we settle into our new home. Safe travels, and we hope to welcome you back the next time you visit the Space Coast! Warm regards, Fred Trust Owner & Curator
Great self guided tour with lots of Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Immersive theater was awesome. Owner very pleasant and explained how the tour was done. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for the fantastic review! It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and helping you kick off your journey down the Yellow Brick Road. I’m thrilled to hear that you enjoyed exploring our memorabilia collection and that the immersive theater stood out as a highlight of your visit. Your high recommendation means the world to us. Hope to welcome you back somewhere over the rainbow again soon!
Enjoyed this a lot. So much information on the history of the book. L. Frank Baum actually wrote 40 books altogether. Owner very knowledgeable. There were original items from the movie.
Thank you for your visit and review from Kansas. I am glad you enjoyed your visit, learned something new, and had a chance to communicate with the owner.
The Museum was amazing. The amount of Oz items and history presented was fabulous. The owner was nice attentive and very knowledgeable and helpful with information or any questions. Would completely recommend to people coming down this way awesome activity to stop and see.

Carrie, thank you for your visit and review. I am glad you enjoyed your visit.
Follow the yellow brick road inside to the best little Wizard of Oz Museum in the world! If you are a fan of this classic movie then you can not afford to miss this experience! Best two hours in Florida!
Great museum! I learned things i didn't know. I liked that you can easily see everything in about 90 minutes.
Great time. Very detailed and fun!
Thank you for your visit and review. I am glad you enjoyed your visit and had fun.
If you’re into the wizard of oz memorabilia, this is a fun way to spend some time. The museum tour is self-guided with QR codes on each display case. There is a lot of good history about the early (before the movie) productions and just how many books LFrank Baum wrote. There were quite a few collectibles from the 80’s and 90’s that I could have skipped. There was a little information on the spin-off movies “The Wiz” and “Return to Oz.” Virtually nothing on the “Wicked” books, musicals, and movies, much to my disappointment. There are some mannequins of the characters and some disturbing flying monkeys (taxidermied baboons with wings) for photo ops. The highlight of the museum is the immersive video room. There must have been 30 projectors set up pointing at all 4 walls and the floor. It plays a 360 degree projection on a continuous loop for about 30 min. When the last people in front of us left, leaving only my daughter and me in the room, we had a blast, running and dancing through the room, which is pretty much encouraged. :) I hope there weren’t any cameras in there.
Benjamin, thank you for your visit and review. I am glad you enjoyed your visit with your daughter. We have so many collectables spread throughout the museum that it is very easy to overlook. We have one cabinet dedicated to the Wiz movie. A few shelves to "Return to Oz. and one full cabinet to "Wicked". Thank you for your visit.
Really cool museum with amazing original memorabilia. Very friendly staff. Love the immersive Wizard of Oz/van Gogh room.
