I am Simone Vergamini, "Best Sommelier of Tuscany 2023, 3rd place at the Best Sommelier of Italy 2018, 2021 and 2022. We can organize the tasting directly at your home or at the hotel where you are on holiday, even in the center of Lucca or on the neighboring hills. The experience always includes an introduction to wine tasting, the history of the territory and wineries.5 wines accompanied by bread, cheese and oil from local production. These are wines selected from small producers, mainly organic certified We can organize the tasting directly at your home or at the hotel where you are on holiday. I'll take care of everything and you won't have to think about anything! I will set the table with tasting tablecloths and serve you wines in professional glasses! At the end of the tasting I will leave the bottles uncorked (if not finished :) so you can enjoy them during the holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting with Simone. A talented and knowledgeable sommelier, he gave an instructive and really helpful overview of the local wine region with tastings of 5 different wines that clearly illustrated the characteristics of each wine. His presentation was engaging and he welcomed all of our questions. I would highly recommend a tasting session with Simone.
