Wine Tasting, Chicken Piri Piri & Sights (Albufeira/Vilamoura)

Be prepared for no air conditioning in the minibus, no amazing viewpoints, the visit to the lake was just a walk on a boardwalk which I wouldn't describe as amazing, the guide didn't share any details about the local agriculture/trees, the famous chicken peri peri was average and not the 'best ever tried', the best dish being the salad, there was no walk in the vineyards, the wine tasting being the only part of the tour that met expectations, overall we felt it was expensive for what we got and a bit of a disappointment

A bit pricey, but it is well worth it, as you get to sight-see some really nice places, you get to have a lovely lunch, explore the small villages, and finally you get to test the amazing wine the region has to offer! I booked this off-peak, which was great, because it felt very intimate and relaxed, and the other people that we were with were super friendly and easy to talk to. We were part of a 5 people group, which was simply lovely! The whole experience took a good chunk of the day, I would say around 4-4.5 hours! But well worth it!

I highly recommend this tour. Manuel was an excellent guide and very knowledgable about the area. The Chicken Piri Piri was amazing and the winery visit was very good. It was very informative and the wine was very nice. The person at the winery knew her stuff and was very nice. Highly recommend.

Probably the worst experience ever from pick up to end Pickup late took us on a trip for an hour to places we were not interested then took us to a rundown restaurant for chicken pri then told us he will be back in two hours We said just take us back to the hotel with NO refund Got our own taxi to the vineyard which also was a waste of time and money Don’t go on this trip Should have known better as we were the only ones on the trip

I wasn't sure what to expect being chicken and wine but I wasn't disappointed. Not only was the chicken tasty and flavourful, the wine tour was interesting and informative. The bonus was the additional stops on the way.

Nice experience. Good food and nice guide. But had expected a tour of the vineyard. It wasn't. The advantage was that you were picked up at the hotel.

Fantastic day out with a very lovely and professional guide. Picked up at hotel right on time. We proceeded to a few view points one overlooking Albufeira marina. Then on to Guia where we were shown into a local small restaurant for lunch. Lunch consisted of Piri Piri Chicken, fresh salad and fries accompanied by red and white local wine and water. The meal was finished off with a selection of small cakes, a shot of firewater and coffee. Lunch was absolutely outstanding and the staff in restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. From there we travelled a short distance to Adega do Cantor (Sir Cliff Richard’s former winery). We had time for photos overlooking the vineyard then into the tasting room where we got to sample 5 wines from the winery. Rose, white, 2 reds and sparkling. All were excellent and the host was exceptional at explaining the wine making process, the grapes used in each of the wines and also the history of the vineyard. All in all an excellent day out. Would definitely recommend not only this tour but the tour company. Thanks for a fabulous day.

Cody picked us up at the hotel on time and took us to the highest point in albufeira. He pointed out the local beaches and told us the history of the region. We then went to a local salt lake and then had an excellent lunch of chicken 🐔 piri piri. The meal was excellent, the ambiance was great,and it was obvious that this was a popular local restaurant. After lunch we visited a local vineyard where we tasted 5 local wines. So good! It was a really good day for all of us and we cannot thank Cody enough for his kindness ❤️

The tour began with us being collected at our hotel. Despite it being the off-season and only my wife and I being present, the tour proceeded as scheduled. Our guide was very friendly and took some photos of us. They were also very knowledgeable about our route and the different places in the Algarve. The piri-piri chicken was delicious and a good portion. The wine tasting was enjoyable, and we tasted several wines. It was a very enjoyable day for both of us.
