Our hosted and easy-going walk in Sion** in the heart of Valais' legendary wine region will leave you with long-lasting memories and picturesque vistas at every turn. Lead by Marc, a UNESCO World Heritage Guide, qualified sommelier/wine educator and journalist, he will take your back through time, tracing an ancient vineyard route above the "Swiss Rhöne valley". We also enjoy artisan local cheeses along the route. At the peak of our journey we enjoy a flavourful 3-course lunch of local favourites and varied red and white wines. Excellence with a view to match. Perfect for groups and families, you will relish and learn so much on this experience. The wonderful Valais vineyards are no secret in this part of the world, however Marc’s trip uncovered for us some amazing unknown wines, delicious local cuisine all to a simply stunning backdrop of Valaisan mountain scenery and all wrapped up with Marc’s fantastic and informative banter. Go with an open mind to discover and a big appetite and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended !!
