Itinerary
Along the way, we will stop in the village of Manavi and try homemade wines, chacha the famous sweet “churchkhela”, various sauces and tasty treats.
odbe Monastery of St. Nino. A beautiful, well-kept monastery, a lot of greenery and flowers – it’s immediately noticeable that the monastery is for women. The beautiful new church of St. Nino, the old church of St. George with the tomb of St. Nino, a separate three-story bell tower, a holy spring – everything is very interesting, everything is very beautiful, everything is very soulful.
Who hasn’t heard the famous and beloved “A million, million, million of scarlet roses”? Remember the story about the poor artist Nikola Firosmani, who gave his beautiful ballerina from Paris, Margarita de Sèvres, an entire square of flowers? Here we are in the city of Sighnaghi, the city of love with its unique architecture, as if you are in medieval Italy or Switzerland. The famous wedding house 7/24, just like in Las Vegas. We will walk along the narrow, colorful streets of the city and go up to the city wall ,,small, Chinese wall.” Wow, dazzling views of the Alazani Valley and the Great Caucasus Range open before us.
We need to refresh ourselves! Let’s go to the capital of Kakheti, Telavi! The legendary movie “Mimino” was filmed here, which depicts the monument to Heraclius II, where we will stop for a memorable photo. We will visit the huge, ancient (945 years old) eastern plane tree. Continuation of the journey to the wine cellar of traditional winemaking “Sehnika”. After visiting the winery production and tasting wines, chacha and brandy, you will be offered a traditional Georgian lunch.
After so many impressions and emotions, we return to Tbilisi through the Gombori pass. On the way, we will stop at the top of the pass (1620 m from sea level) and enjoy the stunning views. We will return to Tbilisi without noticing how the day has flown by. All the way you will be accompanied and entertained by a professional guide and driver. I promise that you will want to come back to us again! We will be very, very happy for you!

If you are primarily an English speaker and have no ability to communicate in the local language, be warned that most of the conversations by the guide will not be translated but there is non stop talking on the mic. Also do not consider it a wine tour, they barely touch upon the wine making and you will not set foot in a wine yard. To be fair they were nice.
Dear guest, Thank you for your review. Your feedback is important for us, but you also need to be honest in your reviews. When you say you weren't taken to a winery, you're being disingenuous. You were taken to two places: in the village of Manavi to home-made wine and in Telavi to traditional wine. And you had FREE tastings at both places. The grape harvest is over, and it's certainly impossible to show the winemaking process all year long. Our guides speak several languages, and you're the first person whose basic level of English didn't like it. Based on your requirements, you should have taken a private tour, but for the pennies you're paying, that's not realistic in any country. I wish you good luck and a little sincerity in your reviews. After all, these people really worked hard for you.
Pros: - The guide was very good and tried and told a lot about the history of Georgia Cons: - The restaurant and the shops that were visited were overpriced, you paid significantly tourist prices - There was too little time available at the stages, especially the city with the city wall we would have liked to explore longer
Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are responsible for the transportation and guide you were satisfied with. There is ample time everywhere. It's important to understand that this is a group tour, not a private one. We don't set restaurant pricing. For some, it's expensive, for others, it's cheap. In any case, thank you for your review.
I liked everything about this trip! Since the start, i was welcomed super nicely by the tour organizer. Then comes the group, all of them were so friendly and we all enjoyed each other's company. The tour guide was super professional and knowledgeable! He did not mind speaking russian and english at the same time even though we were only 3 english speakers. And the information he was giving was so rich! Thank you for making my trip memorable!
Good experience of tasting Georgian wines in Kakheti, and lunch with the great views of the Caucasus Mountains.
It was cheap and easy way to see some new parts of the country, but we had no flexibility to see the towns, all in group arrangement. We didnt get to see Telavi, instead wasted 2 hours at a restaurant near there which was not so good. The guide was friendly, but mostly spoke Russian and we didn't get all of the information and stories in English.
Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We will take into account and strive to improve the service. It seems to me that in your response you do not indicate some of the newness. It’s a rough and how you’ve marked budget tours, and we cater to the interests of the whole group and for you would have an individual tour and this would be a flexible tour as you wanted. The group tour has its own specificity. about the restaurant where you spent "2 hours" -you didn’t mention that it included a wine's tasting in a beautiful, traditional wine cellar which takes about 40 minutes. Add to this lunch time and of course it will be 2 hours. In any case, we wish you all the best.
Fantastic tour. Tried homemade and traditional wines as well as visiting the beautiful monastery of Saint Nino. Tour guide has fantastic English and Russian speaking skills and was very interesting. Definitely great value for money and recommend!
It was amazing day with amazing people! We Been in the Bodbe monastery, there we saw Alazani Valley and we enjoy wonderful walk tour in the city of love Signagi
