Important Information

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Bring a change of dry clothes, a towel, and a sweatshirt on the bus with you. It will be waiting for you at the end of your trip.
- Conditions can be variable; you may experience a cold day on the river. (Not to worry, it will still be a lot of fun. You just have to dress appropriately!)
- Please wear shoes that can get wet that will not fall off your feet. An old pair of running shoes or water shoes would be your best option. You must wear footwear in the raft, so we do have booties available for rent if you do not have footwear. Sizes run 2 – 15 and can be rented upon arrival for $5.00 per pair.
- Please wear synthetic clothing if possible and bring layers. Synthetics are best for the river because they dry faster than cotton. A bathing suit underneath shorts and a t-shirt is fine for a nice, warm, summer day.
- Splash gear is complimentary. On a cold day, you’ll want a bathing suit to wear under the wet suit.
- Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are highly recommended.
- We have wet suits & wet suit jackets available for rent. Wet suits are $10.00 to rent. Wet suit jackets are $5.00 to rent.
- Please note kids must weigh at least 50 pounds or more to go rafting!

Awesome experience for our first go at rafting. The guides (Fritz and Lulu) did an awesome job guiding us down the river. It was COLD!!! However Mad River took care of us and we were fitting in wet suits without question (or charge).
Our whitewater rafting trip on the Snake River in the Great Tetons on June 4th was an absolute blast! From the moment we launched, Parker made the entire experience exciting, fun, and incredibly memorable. What stood out most was how seriously he took safety while still keeping the atmosphere lighthearted and entertaining. Before every rapid, you could tell Parker was fully focused and experienced, which made us feel confident and completely at ease — something that was very important to us. At the same time, he kept us laughing the entire trip with funny stories and great humor that perfectly distracted us from the anticipation of the next set of rapids! It created the perfect balance of adrenaline, fun, and reassurance. The scenery along the Snake River was absolutely breathtaking, and the ride itself was exhilarating from start to finish. Parker truly made the experience exceptional. We would absolutely recommend this rafting trip to anyone looking for adventure in the Great Tetons!

Absolutely loved this experience. I was reluctant to go at first - so glad I did. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable and views were spectacular.
This was a lot of fun and the views are beautiful. Jeff was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed the rapids which were 2’s and 3’s. The drive to/from the river was nice too. Our driver pointed out eagles’ nests and beaver dams and was a friendly lady.
