Guides talked us into an upgrade to the Paquare River, and what a ride! Excellent in every way! Food was great. Our guide was Roberto and he spoke wonderful English. Great instruction and his 10 years of experience helped us have fun and "survive" Must be in pretty good shape and not have any health issues. Exhausting 4 hour trip, but well worth the effort!
The guides were wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. This is a great trip for novice rafters (like us!), though with our guides I would have felt more than comfortable on the more challenging segments too. I only wish we had chosen the longer trip. The travel from San Jose is 2.5-3 hours each way, making for a long day, the overnight option would have definitely been worth it. The organization also acts as a hub to help travels travel from one side of country to the other for free when rafting. Truly fantastic experience I would recommend to any nature lover of even moderate fitness.
The outfit was very professional and did everything they could to provide a good experience. But unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. The rains created an unsafe situation for one venue, so we had to retreat to another, less challenging river. That was good, as it was elevated due to the rains. But the big issue was the return trip to San Jose. That was tough as the roads were washed out, and the bus had to take another route back, creating a very long trip back. This of course was not their fault, but it made for a long day. This is a good outfit, and they are recommended.
Me and the other 2 people I was with were supposed to do the class 2-3 but when we got picked up the tour guide named Jefferson told us we should do the 1-4 instead so we did and we are so glad that we did. It was AMAZING. And the food that they provided was good as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something exciting to do.

We were actually taken to Pacuare River since Reventazon was too dry for rafting. We had a blast all day long. The guides were very good, extremely friendly and funny and the experience was amazing. Would do again. Highly recommended!! A
