We depart Alice Spring on an adventure to explore exploring the West MacDonnell National Park and surrounding UNESCO-listed areas onboard our West MacDonnell Ranges (Tjoritja) day trip.
Explore the West MacDonnell National Park, known by the traditional owners as Tjoritja.
Marvel at the awe of Standley Chasm traditionally known as Angkerle Atwatye as you meander through the 80m high gorge.
Refresh within the towering walls of Ormiston Gorge, traditionally known as Kwartatuma.
See the UNESCO-listed Ochre Pit mineral rockface and coloured clay ochre still used in traditional ceremonies
Cool off at Ellery Creek Big Hole, one of Central Australia's largest and most beautiful swimming spots.
Try for a glimpse of the very shy black-footed-rock-wallaby and other native wildlife through Simpsons Gap, traditionally known as Rungutjirpa.
We deliver you back to Alice Springs to your chosen accommodation around 18:00pm, as you reflect on your day of exploration and wonder.

Our guide Maya was really knowledgeable about all sorts of topics of the trip. We loved how relaxed and adaptive she was with plans for the day, as we were a small group and catered for our needs, without rushing us along. We visited quite a few sites, even a swim at Ellery Gorge. We sang along to tunes in the comfortable mini van. We didnt have to worry about a thing! Maya has such positive vibes, a pleasure meeting her.

Andrew is a chill guy. Sometimes, you have to enjoy the trip yourself so you can bring that happiness to the traveler. I went swimming because of him. He bought us coffee and burgers from a local shop. what a luxurious treat while touring.

Full day Alice spring tour with must see locations. Surround yourself with aboriginal stories and culture. You see a lot but do not feel rushed. The highlight was being able to swim at two of the gorges! It was wonderful to experience these places after the big wet this area had experienced. However, even if dry the area is spectacular, worth visiting!

My mom and I were on holiday in Australia and had two days in Alice springs. We booked this tour to see the Australian outback and we were not disappointed - there are many different stops to see the beautiful landscape and wildlife. Libby was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She’s knowledgeable and enjoys what she does, which made the tour that much better! Highly recommend this tour!
