I looked that there was a bar, but I didn't expect there to be a speaking tour the whole time. So going in, know that it is not a social boat ride. There is a guided tour, very informative, from start to finish
Worst experience ever . The boat ride is very boring and the view is not so great to enjoy. Won’t recommend
It is a good activity to relax for a moment, to get away from the daily work routine and stress.
The cruise was gorgeous. It was sunny and the weather was delightful. We started on the lower deck and quickly made our way to the main deck. The breeze with the wind blowing was just right. The announcer of the tour was clear and on point. I truly enjoyed myself. Something I recommend!!! Especially when you are looking to get on a water cruise. Thanks Boomerang “Blue”
Meeting location was difficult to find, no signage or employee to mark the spot. Boat was late to arrive to the dock which made it harder to find and late to board. Couldn’t hear the speaker on the upper part of the boat (despite asking them to turn it up) so missed 80% of the info.
Weather was rainy but the tour was great! The Tour operators were knowledgeable and friendly. I spent my time going between the warm dry interior and heading back outside to watch the view go by in the rain.
I booked a sightseeing cruise with a tour. The outdoor area (the part where people on a nice day WANT to sit) and the speaker system was broken. No audio was available for the outside section. I asked the employee and he told me it was working downstairs. I explained that I booked a boat tour, boats tours are for outside. He shrugged. I’d like a refund.
The staff was engaging. The ride was very smooth. This was a good experience that Was quiet, relaxing and we learned more about DC that prepared us for the rest of our trip. Wonderful!!
The tour offers a fresh perspective on the landmarks around the National Mall. It’s family-friendly, with a covered lower deck for comfort. If you choose to sit on the upper deck, be sure to bring a hat or wear sunscreen.
