We were excited to take this electric cart tour by Washington DC guided tours. When we arrived, there was a large group waiting. There was a lot of confusion amongst the drivers on who would take groups and how many would fit in the carts. As the waiting group dwindled down, they were frantically trying to figure out how to get the remaining parties in carts. The option they came up with was to pack people in, this was due to either miscounting riders and/or overbooking for the available cars. We volunteered to change our trip to the following evening if we could get a discount. We were told that would work and we would get a call from the company. The company called promptly, but told us that the 8 PM session was already overbooked. They offered various times but we had signed up for-the tour because it was the evening tour. We went back-and-forth being put on hold to see if they could figure out a way to accommodate us. They called back and said they could fit us in, even though we had been told that it was originally overbooked. We were also told that we were not guaranteed a discount for changing our trip like we had originally been told. So we ended up canceling our trip altogether due to the hassle.
Some vehicles are not protected from rain on each side. Take this trip whrn the weather is nice. Thx
Thank you Paul for sharing your feedback. We appreciate you pointing this out. While many of our vehicles are equipped with rain covers, some have more open sides, which can make rainy weather less comfortable. We're glad you shared this so future guests know what to expect, and we hope to welcome you back for another ride on a beautiful day!

It's wonderful to know your guide's friendliness and knowledge helped make your visit even more memorable. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future! 😊
Our guide was not very knowledgeable or really a “tour guide”. Just a driver. …. “Here’s the Washington monument”. “On the left, that’s the capital”. “We have 10 min here for photos” No extra info our anything. I could have done this myself of a bike or scooter. Why did I pay so much to have no questions answered and no extra info?
We truly appreciate your honest feedback and sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide an engaging and informative tour, with guides who share the stories, history, and significance behind the landmarks we visit. What you've described is not the level of experience we strive to deliver, and we understand your disappointment. We value your comments and will be sharing them with our team so we can address this internally and improve the experience for future guests. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and we're sorry we fell short during your visit.
It’s the best time to see the monuments. There are still a LOT of people out but it didn’t seem chaotic and the temperature was perfect. We were in a 7 person trolley and the small group allowed us to get to know each other.
We appreciate you sharing this! Evening tours really do have a special atmosphere, and we’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable weather and lively energy around the monuments without it feeling overwhelming. It’s also wonderful to hear that the smaller group made the experience more personal and enjoyable. We love when guests connect with each other along the way. Hope to welcome you back again for another memorable ride through the city!
