There are many so called "classical tours" given but none on the lines of my tour which offers the history of slavery in the Federal City.

Just so brilliant! Loved Dr Koura and her vast knowledge of DC. Would recommend this tour to any and everyone!
What a wonderful tour! Dr. Gibson was very knowledgeable on the history of slavery in DC. Parts of Lafayette park was closed but we were still able to see important monuments in history.
I enjoyed touring with Briana! Yes, we were able to maneuver around the closure due to the renovation of the White House. I always aim to ensure we still experience the most important sites and stories that shape this history. I appreciated your flexibility and curiosity—it truly made the experience even more special.
This was by far the best tour! Dr. Koura is knowledgeable & passionate about black history and Washington DC history. She is very personable and a great teacher. A MUST experience.

Our tour guide, Dr. Gibson, was excellent! She not so friendly & knowledgeable about every aspect of the his history of slavery in D.C. Her enthusiasm was infectious! Dr. Gibson, is literally a walking encyclopedia for the city of DC!! I highly recommend this tour it was so enriching for my family and I. We’re still talking about all the amazing black historical figures that contributed to our nation’s capital.
