April 18, tour

Tour was okay. The guide was knowledgeable but disappointed we did not make it to the Fords theater timely. The guide shared he had an injury in an auto accident. I felt that slowed him down some, but he was nice, and knowledgeable as I said.

Operator response

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found your guide friendly, knowledgeable, and enjoyed the historical information shared throughout your Washington, DC experience. We would, however, like to politely clarify for future readers that this tour does not include an interior visit to Ford's Theatre, and this is clearly outlined in the tour itinerary and inclusions. The experience is designed as a guided exploration of Washington, DC’s most important landmarks, with expert storytelling and historical context provided throughout. It appears there may have been some confusion regarding the specific tour booked and what was included. Poor planning on the tour agency’s part

Purchased this tour well in advance only for it to be canceled the evening before. We decided to try and go to the theater on our own and found it was closed for the week. This is information the tour should’ve known in advance and given us more notice of the cancellation so that something else could’ve been scheduled.

Operator response

Hello, the tour did not operate as the Museum was closed for emergency repairs beyond our control. We contacted you with an alternative date but never heard back from you. The tour cost was refunded immediately to you. Best Regards,
