Warsaw Traditional Vessel Cruise Along the Vistula River

Description
Hop on the Galar Wiślany, a traditional wooden ship featuring two decks – one indoor and one outdoor – ensuring a pleasant experience regardless of weather conditions. Begin the cruise journey at the Warsaw Mermaid Monument, taking you along boulevards, under three bridges, and up to the Old Town. Sailing on the Vistula, pass by the Copernicus Science Center, the Museum of Modern Art, the entrance to the Port of Prague, and the remarkably lush and untamed right bank of Warsaw, a rarity in Europe, leading all the way to the New and Old Towns. On the way back, glide past the National Stadium and the iconic Poniatówka beach, and see a deserted island in the middle of the city.

This was the worst tour I’ve ever booked. We got on the boat, motored up the river, turned around, motored down the river, turned around and went back to the dock. No words were ever spoken by the boat driver to us or to the other 3 passengers. No information given at all even where life jackets were in case the boat got into trouble. Really lame and a waste of money in my opinion. Perhaps if they had a monologue of what you were seeing then maybe it would be worth booking. But honestly I wouldn’t waste your time and money.
Our expectations were exceeded... a great experience... gladly again! Tip: Weekdays are less busy. Great atmosphere!
Such a lovely time! The captain, Karol, was great and we were lucky enough to have just the 3 of us. He was entertaining and taught us so much about Warsaw and Poland in general. Super cool to be on an old Polish boat. Just an hour but was a lovely short cruise!
