We will meet in our Agency, where you will be welcomed by the licensed professional guide. There you will start with this amazing tour.
The Markale market place was the one of the places where citizens of sarajevo even during the war had a chance to find supplies. There tey could find food and other essentials that were helping them during the though times when Sarajevo was under the LONGEST Siege in the history of modern wars. Unfortunately, this place was the focus point of the two biggest massacres by the Army of Republika Srpska.
We are going to pass through Sniper Alley - the most dangerous street in Sarajevo where snipers were shooting every day. You are going to see many buildings from the Yugoslav period still affected by the war. There the guide will tell you stories from that time, which will get you closer feeling about the happenings during the war.
Sarajevo's City hall is one of the must-see attractions in Sarajevo. It is the symbol of this city, that is rebuilt after its totally damage in the last Bosnian war.
On the way back we will pass by the most popular place in Sarajevo- Old town and Bascarsija.
The Tunnel served as the only entrance to Sarajevo during the four years long Siege. It was 800 meters long and was the only connection of the surrounded city with the rest of the world. Today it is functioning as a museum.
After the tour we will be back to the starting point in the Agency Meet Bosnia Travel. If you were picked up on your location, then our professional driver will drop-off you on that location again.

We did 2 tours with the same guide Mr Armin Komarica which were Morning Walking Tour of Sarajevo’s Old Town as well as Fall of Yugoslavia Tour. Mr Armin was highly personable, professional and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He also does the food tour too. You can feel his passion of his job and he speaks very good English and his explanation were also highly detailed. At the end of our tours, we were hoping that Mr Armin also can conduct other Bosnian touring activities as we highly enjoyed our time with him. He is highly recommended for those who want to join Meet Bosnia’s tours and you won’t regret.

Wonderfully organized tour, the guide was very good at explaining the story of what happened and allowing you to immerse yourself in the life of those very bad days. Recommended if you want to try to understand what happened.

Amazing and very moving tour, recounting the breakup of Yugoslavia and the horrific siege of Sarajevo. The tour guides we had, Eddie and Amir, were clearly passionate about their country's history, both remote and recent. They included personal stories along with explanations of what happened during the war, that made the history come to life quite vividly. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

Even though the sight is small it offers a good view of what life was like during the civil war in bosnia and what happened in Sarajevo. Reminder of how people have acted against each other. You get the chance to walk in the tunnel.
