Had an excellent walking food tour in Cairo with Peter. He was incredibly informative and shared lots of interesting facts about the city, culture, and local food. The market was really lively and full of atmosphere, and it was great fun walking around and trying so many tasty foods along the way. The private driver was also excellent and made everything really easy and comfortable. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo!
Peter Nabil is, without a doubt, the best tour guide I’ve ever had. What we expected to be just a walking food tour turned into an unforgettable night filled with incredible food, sightseeing, cultural insight, and nonstop fun and laughter. What really sets Peter apart is his authenticity—he never once tried to sell us anything or steer us into tourist traps. Instead, he focused on giving us a genuine, local experience that felt both personal and meaningful. We tasted so many amazing dishes and desserts, all carefully chosen and absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, Peter made us feel completely comfortable and safe the entire time, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the experience. His energy, knowledge, and passion made the night something we’ll always remember. If you’re thinking about taking a tour with Peter, don’t hesitate—you’ll leave full, happy, and with memories that last a lifetime.
Ayoub was a great tour guide with much knowledge about the history of Old Cairo as well as Egyptian history from the Pharaohs to the modern times. His depth and detail of historical knowledge of Egypt and Old Cairo was very impressive. The food was also very good. After walking through Old Cairo and the bazaar, we stopped to try some small pastries followed with a delicious bowl of koshary, Next stop was the tasty Egyptian pizza which reminded me of a thin quiche. To finish the main foods I had a beef Shawarma. I was so full, I decide to take the shawarma back to eat at my hotel. Finally, we had some Egyptian gelato. Ayoub's hospitality was second to none. He constantly asked me if I wanted to try anything else but I was too stuffed. His passion and enthusiasm made this tour very entertaining and informative.
Everything was amazing! Peter was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. He was supper helpful with all our questions and aided with language barriers in the market. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great nightlife experience and some shopping!

Peter was a fantastic food guide in Cairo and showed us an amazing time. He was sweet, fun, and full of great energy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Even when traffic came to a complete standstill, he kept his good humor and had us laughing and entertained. The markets and restaurants he chose were absolutely perfect and gave us a wonderful taste of Cairo’s food scene. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a fun, relaxed, and delicious food tour.
This tour should be experienced at night because that is when Cairo comes alive. You are brought to Khan El Khalili which is Cairo's version of a bazaar. Lots of touristy shops and fun to walk through. Our guide Peter was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the market and how it came about. He was a lot of fun to talk to and took us to try local Egyptian food. My favorite was the koshary, an Egyption comfort food. I would definitely recommend this tour. Great value for6 the money as it includes food as well.
Had a great time yet again with Ayoub, very knowledgeable, let us take our time, had stops when needed, took us to a fantastic place for food called Gad , food delicious , best ever guide we've ever had , and we've had a few on our travels
This tool offered an extremely enjoyable walkthrough of the bustling streets of modern Cairo. Peter offered extensive inside into a recent past and added a lot to the experience of walking through the markets. The atmosphere was a contrasting experience to the pyramids and the food was unforgettable.
This tour offers a great insight into modern Cairo and its bustling markets. Peter did an exceptional job in describing the recent history and the developments shaped Cairo as we see it today. The intensity of the streets offers a contrasting experience to the pyramids, and the food is truly unforgettable.
