You can overlook the city of Osaka from the top of Osaka Castle tower. The castle tower also houses an informative museum about history of Osaka Castle and the Sengoku period. Take a photo with the majesty of Osaka Castle in the background. After the castle, we will take lunch in a very popular ramen shop. Remen is included in the tour fee.
Shitennoji temple was founded in 593 and is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Japan, also the first ever to be built by the state. Learn about the derivation of this temple and many achievements of its founder at that era.
Osaka's Shinsekai is a vibrant, retro district known for its nostalgic atmosphere, colorful streets, and iconic Tsutenkaku Tower. Developed in the early 20th century, it blends old-school charm with modern energy, offering tasty street food like kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) and a lively, quirky vibe. Around Tsutenkaku, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the town unique to Shinsekai, and take a commemorative photo with Tsutenkaku and the cityscape in the background.
Enjoy the atmosphere of a lively covered public market that has continued since the Edo period, it has more than 200 years history. The guide will recommend you some tasty local street food in the market.
We will visit the most colorful downtown area in Osaka, which symbolizes Osaka, the city of food. Take a picture with the landmark Glico signboard, end the tour at Hozenji temple.

Taka was an excellent guide, he explained us a lot of things and his English was very good. The tour is very complete for the price, I recommend it strongly, even for cruisers as the time is very convenient and you are able to see all main spots from Osaka on a tour and can join the tour from the port easily. The meal included is local but very good and the lunch place quiet and with fantastic views.
Taka-san was very friendly, full of interesting trivia and knew all the photo hotspots along the route. Excellent wander through Osaka. Well worth the money.

Truly a 5 star service and tour. The guide Takanobu Dodge was exceptional. At the end of the tour he went out of his way to help me find my way back through the bus system to the hotel. He stayed with me at every step of the process.
The guide was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He was so knowledgeable and kind. The tour was amazing, so many different spots, and his information about each of the spots was extremely insightful. I would highly recommend, the tour not only shows you many spots but Taka will explain the meaning behind all of the sites which is something you don’t get by just visiting the sites. The ramen for lunch was amazing as well.
