NICE IDEAL TOURS offers you a very varied and complete circuit during which I will show you the jewels of Nice. In this wonderful, picturesque and colorful place, with magnificent architecture, narrow cobbled streets, you will discover countless restaurants, squares, churches, museums, cafes, wine bars, ice cream parlors... The beautiful Place Massena, the gardens and green spaces, the pedestrian zone, the Cours Saleya and the Promenade des Anglais will certainly not leave you indifferent. As they say, “Nissa la Bella” has incredible charm! Still on foot, you will also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the top of the castle hill. The waterfall, the Promenade des Anglais, old Nice, the magnificent port and Mont Boron will be right before your eyes. This is the right place to start our tour, where I will tell you about the evolution of the city of Nice over the centuries... We will then head towards the famous Place Massena and more precisely towards the Fountain of the Sun.
With its beautiful Piedmontese architecture and its fountain of the sun housing the famous statue of Apollo, Place Masséna is the indisputable and essential lungs of Nice.
Visit the famous Flower Market on Cours Saleya with its bright colors and sublime scents, presenting the flowers of the region, including the famous lavender. Mondays are the time for the antique market.
I will show you around the jewels of old Nice, its narrow cobbled streets, its alleys used to keep the cool in summer and the heat in winter. You will contemplate the facades of its old buildings in pastel tones and you will wander in its shops selling Nice soap, Provencal textiles, cheese, crafts and all this is added the scent of spices and food. In this marvelous picturesque and colorful place, you will discover countless restaurants, squares, churches, monuments, museums, cafes, wine bars, ice cream parlors… The beautiful Place Massena, the green spaces, the Cours Saleya with its flower market, the exceptional architectural heritage, the pedestrian streets and the Promenade des Anglais will certainly not leave you indifferent.
You will also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the top of the castle hill. You will discover the magical view of the entire Promenade des Anglais, the famous waterfall, the large green park on the one hand and the beautiful port of Nice and the magnificent view of the hill of Mont Boron on the other hand. We saw many monuments and interesting sights in Nice, however, the tour was suppose to be 2.5 hours but ended up being 3 hours because he spent too much time telling dumb jokes.

The tour was slightly longer than usual because of the extreme heat, and I included a short break so guests could cool down and use the restroom. I also had the impression that you preferred a faster pace, which I noticed during the tour. My walking tours are designed to be relaxed, allowing guests to take photos, ask questions, and fully enjoy the experience. As for the humor, everyone has different tastes. Extremely knowledgeable guide not only highlighted many special sights and areas, but provided a rich history of Nice and the places we visited while on the tour. Guide was also very entertaining while doing so.
