Really the most fun tour we had in Dublin! Book without hesitation for a fun and informative walking tour with the BEST tour guide in Dublin with his awesome wolf-dog, Luna <3 ! Everyone we walked by was so envious of our tour...Just do it!
This is truly one of the highlights of our 22 days in Ireland and Scotland!! He was immensely entertaining, a true historian, (we learned so much) and overall just a wonderful guy and tour guide!!! Truly could not recommend enough! If you are in Dublin you need to book this tour!! His puppy was definitely a bonus ❤️❤️❤️
If you only go on one tour during your stay in Dublin, make sure it is THIS Viking tour!!! The guide is the best ever! He was so lively and engaging and absolutely knew his stuff. We fancy ourselves well versed in history but he blew us out of the water with his knowledge of Vikings and Viking history. Most people likely don’t know how much Vikings influenced Ireland. We had a couple opportunities to sit down and rest a moment while we learned which was most appreciated. There was also ample opportunity for photos. Before the tour ended, we were joined by his wolf dog. We drew a lot of looks as we passed along in the company of our Viking with his axes and sword, accompanied by his wolf dog! This tour is not to be missed. And frankly, even if you actually LIVE in Dublin but haven’t taken this tour yet, YOU really need to take it as well!
Really informative and a lot of fun! Our Viking guide certainly attracted a lot of attention from passers by, more so with his (part) wolf in tow. We had a great time, learnt and saw a lot. Great value for money and a nice way to see the city’s history from a different perspective
I never thought I could be so captivated for 2 1/2 hours! Don't expect a tour of Dublin today, these are stories and places in old sites that are historical and fascinating. Our particular tour guide was a fabulous storyteller and really knew his stuff. I enjoyed every minute. I learned a lot about a period of time--800 to 1200AD--about which I had previously known very little. Absolutely worth it!
Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and passionate about history and all things Viking! He made an entrance fully dressed as a Viking and gave an excellent tour! My teen boys, ages 16 and 18, loved it! Half way through the tour, he brought out his wolf dog who joined us. A great experience!
Changes were needed due to the Palace closure. The tour began and the Viking spoke for 45 minutes before we began the walking tour. This was a long time to stand without moving to the next highlight. The historical commentary was very informative. Tour was longer than we expected as some of the commentary provided was not relative to the historical content we expected, which added time that was not necessary. A smaller group may have made a difference as well as during the walking Viking mainly spoke to one individual.
We loved every moment of our tour- the history of the Vikings and significance in Dublin and throughout Ireland was fascinating for adults and children alike. Our boys were enthralled with the storytelling, the sites and Luna the pup was a huge hit. Highly recommend!
Excellent tour. Guide very knowledgeable and a very good storyteller. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend
Bren is very knowledgeable and a wonderful storyteller. I hope he writes a book or does a documentary. We learned a lot and loved meeting Luna too. Thank you for serving!
