Elisiana was well educated about local and regional history, as well as friendly, patient, and accommodating. We enjoyed every minute.
Perfect! Extremely informative and pleasant. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Could not have been better!
Elisona is a wonderful tour guide. Her art history degree offers wonderful and profound insights into the history of Cortona. Elisona is thoughtful, patient and calming. As we walked around the city, she seemed to purposefully offer a walking pace which allowed for opportunities to pull in the towns magic. Strolling through the square, Elisona offered context, times, and dates of what we were looking at. If you have a chance to see Cortona - you should do it. If you have an opportunity to hire Elisona as your guide, your experience will be even more enriched.
Our guide cancelled the morning of the tour so we did not take it which was very disappointing as we looked forward to it as an orientation to our week visit to Cortona.
Elisona was our guide. She was fantastic! One of the best walking tours I've ever been on. She was friendly, very well informed and answered every question with knowlege of the subject. Saw the best sights and have a greater understanding of Cortona and its history.
Guide was knowledgeable about the history of the town. Was very engaging. Lots of walking and hills though.
Elisha was an excellent guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and welcomed our questions.
I honestly can not comment on the tour, as it was a no show, it may have been great. I tried booking through two different platforms (Viator and Airbnb) and communication was terrible, you'd have to message many times to receive a response. The tour was cancelled in the early hours of the morning the tour was scheduled. Not knowing this, we proceeded to the meeting place, and 15 mins after the starting time, I messaged them via the Airbnb App. It was a group message with Elisona, Raffaele (co-host), and myself to ask what the hold up was. Upon Raffaele reading the message, he simply just changed the tour as 'cancelled' on the Airbnb app, with no reply, nor explanation. I can only guess they didn't feel there was enough numbers for them to be bothered, but I don't know really. Finally, in their defence, we were given a full refund, hence why I didn't give them 1 star
It is worth doing the tour. We especially appreciated Eliza’s understanding of a disability of a member of our group.
Elisona was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. She had excellent pacing, and paused for questions. This tour gives an outstanding overview of Cortona and Tuscany. We recommend doing this early on in your trip. It gave us an understanding of places we wanted to return to, and answered all our questions.
