Itinerary
We'll start walking through its stone streets while talking about its history. Did you know that its bohemian fame comes from the wave of artists who moved here in the sixties?
During the tour, we will have privileged views of the famous Christ the Redeemer of Rio de Janeiro and the city center.
Between imperial houses, palaces and the passage of yellow trams, we will arrive at Bar do Gomez, which 100 years ago was the meeting point for the locals.
And this visit could not miss a tour of the main urban art murals in the area, as we are in a place full of artists. We will end our tour at Escadaria Selarón, the wonderful work of art that unites Santa Teresa with the Lapa neighborhood.

I liked the story of the Fernanda guide. Perhaps it must have delved a little deeper into the political profile of the neighborhood, which could be noticed on each block, by graffiti, flags and graphic expressions that deserved to be explained in their historical and social context.
Obrigado pelo feedback 🙂 Continuaremos trabalhando para melhorar ainda mais nossas experiências.

Very interesting to know the bohemian side of Rio, very picturesque and cute neighborhood. The guide was clear and enjoyable. At the time of the tour (3pm) we could not use the yellow tram, I recommend to get on it first to take advantage of it and then wait for the tour.
