Itinerary
During the tour we will discover the remparts, the architecture and others defensive system. I will explain to you everything about Carcassonne's history and the famous " Cathars". The count's castle is a amazing building inside the citadel, if you want to visit it, you have to pay your entrance ticket (9 euros per visitor). To finish we will enter in the basilica St-Nazaire and St-Celse to admire this romanesque and gothic jewel!

This was one of the best things we did on our trip! Anna is a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. We were two adults and two teenagers. Despite us all having divergent interests, Anna kept our attention for the entire time. Our history buff son was especially thrilled with all of the insightful information she had and, as a result, we loved the city even more! We had a great time and Anna is very personable. My husband and I had an excellent private tour of Carcassonne with Anna. We walked around the old city and learned all about the history of the area, and toured the inside of the castle and the ramparts. It was interesting, informative, and great fun. Anna was very friendly and enthusiastic and we very much enjoyed spending time with her. We had been skeptical about visiting such a busy tourist destination (which we visited as a day trip from Toulouse), but Anna directed the tour in a way that we hardly noticed other tourists.
