Good place to with family and friends to enjoy how things place has different things especially wildlife, birds, and remarkable monkek
Johnny the driver was good. Cristabelle who I learned later and was a student in training was very nice but quiet, has a lot to learn, and didn't understand English very well. She was better on the walking safari. I loved the walking safari and all of the animals more up close in their natural environment. Park guide was good. Roads here are very bad. Better vehicle is needed. Many other vehicles were moving faster and handling the conditions much better. Cost was too high considering all. hHowever, I am glad I experienced it.
Arusha National Park sometimes is undeservedly brushed aside by travelers planing their safaris in Tanzania, however it is a fabulous place containing savannas, forests, rivers and lakes. Me and my friends really enjoyed our experience with Tarry Adventures and Safaris. Planning and communication: A+ (huge props to Peter for making it so easy and enjoyable) Guide: A+ (Iddy is a skillful driver, great photographer and in general a very nice person) Lunch: A+ (our expectations were exceeded; the food was yummy and the setting beautiful) Wildlife spotted: A (giraffes, colobus, blue monkeys and warthogs made our day really special). Walking tour was a very nice addition to this mini-safari. I suppose you can arrange it to be longer, but even two hours was enough for us to look at the life inside this park from a different perspective and appreciate it.
We enjoyed our day trip to Arusha National Park. They picked us up from our hotel in Moshi, and drove us to the park and back. Our guide was very good at spotting animals throughout the jeep portion. They provided a delicious and large lunch which perfectly accommodated my vegetarian diet. Our favorite part was the walking portion of the safari where we got up close to giraffes!
Really fun trip where we got to see giraffes, buffalos, warthogs, zebras and different monkeys up close. We had a lovely ranger with us who told us a lot about the animals and nature, and a really fun guide (Joseph) who arranged everything for us and shared a lot of his knowledge as well. We walked through the Arusha national park for about 2-3 hours, and drove through the nature in a jeep as well.
Can’t thank my awesome guide Fadhili enough! The walking safari was really cool, and we got to get really close to giraffes, warthogs, and Cape buffalo. Along the way, this is the complete list of animals we got to see… 1. Black and White Colobus Monkey 2. Blue Monkey 4. Olive Baboon 7. Zebra 8. Cape Buffalo 9. Warthog 10. Bushbuck 11. Common Waterbuck 12. DikDik 13. Masai Giraffe Arusha National Park doesn’t have many of the “big 5” animals, but it’s well worth a visit anyways, with many different types of environment (rainforest, plains, lakes) all on the beautiful foothills of Mount Meru.
I love the experience to walk around in the Nationalpark. We saw giraffes so close! It was very wonderful and I would do it again
