Nicky was awesome, just...

Nicky was awesome, just as everyone said she would be. We tasted wine three wineries and also had a wonderful lunch at Batch winery. Nicky taught us so much about the island and its history and the people. Everyone we met was so kind and patient. Highly recommend this tour and Nicky.

Wonderful day with Nicky’s wine tour.

We had an amazing day with Nicky. She gave us tons of info regarding food, flora, history of the island, restaurants, wine. Besides the wonderful and scenic wineries we also made a number of quick stops with stunning views for pix. Highly recommend this tour!

Nicky knows her island and provided an excellent tour for us.

Even though the day started a bit ugly, weatherwise, our tour with Nicky was great from start to finish. She showed the two of us her beautiful island and we visited three wineries. She obviously knows each winery well and them knowing her probably made each experience a bit more personal as opposed to us just popping in on our own. Lunch at Batch Winery was delicious and Nicky preordering our choices for us made things go very smoothly. Our last stop at Mudbrick Winery was the best. Despite it's size, we had an excellent unhurried tasting experience with some excellent wines presented by Jake our server.

Fantastic trip with an amazing lunch and visits to a great mix of charming wineries.

My wife and I did the afternoon wine affair which involved lunch on onetangi beach and tastings at 3 different wineries. From the start I was very impressed by the communication where we received confirmation, reminders in the build up and information about booking the ferry and where to meet. We were met at the ferry terminal by our guide for the day Karen who was a very lovely, endearing, knowledgeable lady who is clearly very proud and passionate about the island. Our lunch at Ki Maha was absolutely fantastic, the food was incredible and we had a wonderful view of the beach. Karen then took us on to three wineries all of which were very different with their own quirks and charms. We ended our tour at the mudbrick vineyard which had stunning views of the island. Karen was brilliant throughout the whole day, very accommodating, both personable and professional making sure we had everything we needed and told us lots about the island as we went round, often taking us on longer and more scenic routes to show us and tell us even more. Thank you for a great trip, Marc.

Wonderful tour around the island

Nicky was our guide. And we were the only two on the tour as she had cancellations. That made our tour a private tour. Nicky did a fantastic job. We toured around the island and saw some beautiful beaches and homes while Nicky told us about the history of the island and some of its current challenges. Being from Cape Cod we could relate. We went to Postage Stamp (which also had Obsidian wines), Batch where we had lunch with a prime table with a view and finally Mudbrick which had a definite party atmosphere. Well worth booking this trip. Thanks Nicky.

Nicky was a pleasure to...

Nicky was a pleasure to tour with. She took us to some great beaches and viewpoints. Being in a small group is the only way to do the winery visits.

Terrific Trip with Nicky

Nicky is a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. She showed us the island and gave us a lot of interesting information about life in New Zealand. The small group format is really nice- and can only be much better than the competing tours with dozens of people. We had a wonderful time.

Awesome tour!

What a fabulous tour! Nicky was great - very knowledgeable and personable. I booked it for a small group feel and it ended up just being me and my husband so basically a private tour! The 3 wineries we went to were excellent and the 2nd one where we had lunch was a great choice - gorgeous view and great food. Several other stops around the island to see beaches and other parts of the island other than just wineries. Would definitely do this tour again!

Excellent

Nikki was a wonderful guide. Friendly and knowledgeable about the island and the wineries. The wineries we visited were very good. All were beautiful and well represented by the hosts. We wish they had focused more on their red wines , or that a choice of tastings was offered.
