Even on our short tours, you get a good taste of our magnificent desert with its rocks, dunes, canyons, and big mountains. If you want to see the sunset, we can start the tour in the afternoon. You will be told historic meanings at some of the sites, and are highly welcome to ask questions about Bedouin life and culture. This site is famous for the 1962 movie Lawrence of Arabia. It is an important ancient water hole was used by travelers passing the area in the old days.
sand dune: climb up the big red sand dune, enjoy the view, and have fun running and jumping down again if you like
This canyon has a lot of inscriptions from Nabatean times including signs for nearby landmarks etc. which we will explain and point out to you once we arrive!
Um Frouth Arch: This amazingly stunning rock arch you can scramble up and take pictures with you standing on its top!
Abu khashabah canyon This is an extremely beautiful narrow sandy canyon that you can walk through to the other end.
Little Rock Arch The smallest natural arch in Wadi Rum, this rock bridge has beautiful panoramic views over the top of Kor al-Ajram, Jebel Rum and Khazali Canyon.
Lawrence’s House Long before Lawrence passed through, Bedouins took shelter from wind and bandits in this old Nabatean station, set on caravan route from Hijaz to Petra and Damascus. Awesome views across the sweeping valley floor to Jebel Raqqa
Anfeshiyeh Inscriptions This set of Nabatean inscriptions was etched to mark routes and give signals to passing travelers. Some point out the area’s water sources while others warn of its various dangers. Others show the winners of the winter camel races that once circled this mountain

The experience was great and fulfilling. Guide told us a lot of great stories about the desert and about the Arabian revolt
Great ride in the desert! Our guide was very involved, he took his time to explain everything and proposed to extend the duration to see the sunset
Amazing ride in the desert. Our guide customized our tour at our request. We had the best time. Strongly recommend
We loved the Wadi Rum Desert, it has a special charm and is worth spending a night there. You have to be careful with hotels. The whole visit to Jordan is organized to squeeze the tourist and in Wadi Rum there is a big business around visitors. There are many hotels that are located outside the protected area so you are not really spending the night in the desert but in a desert area near the road, gas stations and towns. They are sold as bubbles and add luxury to their name but they are quite scary, especially in relation to food. Staying outside may be an option, but make sure that on the 4x4 tour you are actually taken to visit the area of interest. Many of these hotels take you a couple of arches outside the protected area. You think you've been to Wadi Rum but you haven't even seen it.
Owner’s Response: Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We understand your point, and we agree that it’s important for visitors to know the difference between staying inside and outside the protected area of Wadi Rum. We would like to clarify that all our 4x4 tours take place inside the official protected area, visiting the main and most iconic sites. In addition, our camp is a traditional Bedouin camp located inside the protected desert, far from roads, gas stations, and villages, so our guests can enjoy a real desert experience. This review section is meant for feedback about your experience with us, so we kindly ask that comments focus on the service we directly provide. Still, we appreciate your input as it helps other travelers make better-informed decisions. We wish you all the best in your future travels
It was a wonderful tour! Before the trip, they let us park our car inside their yard so that we could be at peace. They also gave us tea and were very kind. The guide was very friendly to us, and showed us all the best locations in Wadi Rum. He also took extra water, as he understood that we, as beginners, did not calculate our needs in the desert. He also helped us climb rocks and suggested great places for photos. This tour exceeded our expectations!!!
This was a fun experience! It was nice that it was my cousin and I on the tour because it allowed us flexibility on the activities we wanted to do/see. Our guide was patient with us since we sort of got lost and/or confused on how to get to the meet up spot. Once we got there, it really was a no brainer. He purchased us water and orange juice and on the way we went - first stop was a little further out where we had views of Wadi Rum’s scenery. We did a slight hike up a hill to get a better view of the place and took some pictures. This had amazing views! We spent a good amount of time taking pictures and he was referencing movies that were shot there. He then took us over to a spot where we were able to see drawings on the mountains that were ancient and gave us some history of the site and meanings of the drawings (I forgot what period he said it belonged to). Next was supposed to be boarding down the sand hill, but we opted out of that experience since we already did this activity else where. The highlight of this tour and I’m so glad we signed up for it was camel riding! This was such a cool experience! We were able to ride the camel from their holding place back to the town and it was just an experience! The camels (Susu and Fufu) were so cute (no, we did not get spit on either)! Make sure you listen to the camel handler and instructions! I misunderstood an instruction and fell off the camel getting off the camel (Fufu was already situated on the ground and I got tangled in the ropes trying to get off when he said to wait for him - that was my bad). We were on a schedule and this tour did exactly what we needed it to do during the time allotted. Again, our guide did amazing and he was so nice! He made sure we were comfortable the entire time.
Excellent, brilliant, fanático. Very good value for the monies. Would very much recommend this to you if you’re looking to get into a new experience.
We had the 2 hours jeep tour plus 1 hour camel ride at Wadi Rum desert and we must confess, if you want to feel in safe hands, go with these cool guys please! From the easy communication and booking process to the outstanding hospitality and the authentic beduin lifestyle we can 100% recommend Wild Wadi Rum. Our driver Ahmad was such a charming and smooth guy, always joking around a little and giving us good information about all the spots we visited. He gave us enough time to explore all the spots and driving with him was soo much fun! (Ya Ahmad, next time we drift inshallah 😉). A big plus was the sun shade our pick-up had.👍 And if this hadn't been enough to remain a memorable experience, our camel ride was the absolute cherry on the cake! By making a childhood dream come true we rode 1 hour through the desert with the most handsome camels Fu-Fu, Shu-Shu and Mish-Mish. 💖 It was absolutely awesome (and hot indeed) and we feel so thankful for having the chance to explore this super chilled-out kind of travelling. Thank you Wild Wadi Rum Team for showing us the beauty of your desert! 🙏
Nice 4-hour tour, very friendly guide who gives a brief explanation of what you see. Jeep had a roof, which is very welcome in this sun and heat. This tour avoids the other busy places, so you are in the middle of the desert with a very small group. Very impressive. And the prices on the site are exactly what you pay. No posturing or only at certain times. Very nice! Highly recommended.
Family run business, super flexible and friendly. Hussein was friendly and accommodating. He even helped carry my 4 year old toddler when he was tired. Very much recommended.
