Volterra Tour + Salt Mine by van from Lucca, Pisa or Livorno Port

Description
If your dream is to discover all the hidden corners of a Tuscan city, that's what you were waiting for :) We will spend some hours in the Etruscan village of Volterra... famous for its roman theatre and the production of alabaster! This unique town was the home of the Etruscans: a population that lived in the area of Tuscany even before the Romans. Furthemore, Volterra was the setting for "New Moon", the second vampire book in the Twilight series. During the day, we will stop in a real salt mine to discover the secret of the finest salt of Tuscany! I will pick you up with my professional van, and I will drive you through the hills of Tuscany until we will arrive at our destination. At every attraction, our driverguide will stop the van trying to offer you an exclusive and comfortable experience and will explain you everything he knows: it will be like watching the view from the eyes of a local. Don't miss this special opportunity to book a daytrip to remember :)

Raffaele was easy to communicate with , prompt and accommodating . Very knowledgeable about the area without just dumping statistics and facts making very interesting .The Salt Mine was interesting but perhaps a bit long and too technical . We left from the Livorno port for a beautiful drive through the Tuscan countryside . Volterra is a beautiful walkable Tuscan medieval village . Lots of lovely shops Plenty of photo opportunities
We had a great day at Volterra and the salt mine yesterday. Raphaeli collected us from outside our hotel in the morning and he was so nice and really got to know us well. He was interested in our holiday and was excited to share the day with us. His van was very comfortable and extremely clean. His stories of the local area and history were excellent. In the town of Volterra we had a great tour and some free time to explore. I also liked how Raphaeli asked us about our adventures afterwards. Then we went to the salt mine where we were met with an enthusiastic guide and it was nice that Raphaeli joined us on this tour. Then we had a very nice chilled trip back to the hotel and prepared for our Carrara trip the following day. Thanks again!!
We’re thrilled to hear that your experience was a positive one! We look forward to welcoming you back.
This was an absolutely amazing trip! Thomas was unbelievable! He shared so much information about the places we went and the towns we passed. He found the items we were searching for. And the salt mine was breathtaking. He was a tour guide from start to finish. I highly recommend Thomas!!!
Thank you my friend :)
