We are direct operators We start in Baños de Agua Santa first place to visit miramera viewpoint to have our first approach in the Amazon jungle then we will visit the hello life reserve we will have a walk and in the waterfall you can take a refreshing bath at the end we will go to a restaurant to taste a Lunch and continuing with the tour we will have the descent down the Puyo River in typical canoes, at the end we will visit the Cotococha community to experience life in the natural state of the native Kichuas. We will continue to visit the highest natural viewpoint in the jungle, an ideal place to practice in the liana de tarzan and rest in the hammock to finish we will have a visit to CACAO farm where we make handmade chocolate and be able to taste it. We leave from our office in our transport first place Mera viewpoint, whose name honors the canton that will welcome you to the Amazon region "EL CANTÓN MERA" Mira Mera has two planks used as viewpoints for those who are not afraid of the vertigo of heights, since you will clearly see the void below and the Amazon jungle around you.
We continue with the journey until we reach the entrance of the waterfall, we will have a walk, we will be able to swim nearby and even locate ourselves behind it. Hola Vida, being a 225-hectare ecological reserve that emphasizes the protection and conservation of the environment, while at the same time allowing national and foreign tourists to visit its famous 21-meter-high waterfall, the waterfall is located in the middle of the protected forest of this place. Hola Vida is a natural reserve of tropical forest. The environment of the place is unique, it presents a secondary forest in very good condition, as well as an extensive tribal history.
In this river we will have a descent to be able to experience this activity that they use to move from one community to another, we will also be able to appreciate the typical houses of the Kichuas natives
At this location we will have lunch, the menu can be a vegetable soup and the second can be grilled chicken, grilled meat, or we also have a vegetarian menu and for drinks we will have a cold natural energizing guayusa tea.
Located on the banks of the Puyo River, Cotococha is one of the Kichwas indigenous communities, which offers its visitors the chance to get to know Amazonian culture in depth. Dance of the Kichwa nationality is performed in one of the cabins of the community The community offers rest, crafts, gastronomy and ancestral knowledge. The traveler comes into direct contact with nature and enjoys the daily life of the locals We will have fawn practice and we can take pictures with the animals that live free in the community.
Indichuris is a Kichwa community that has developed a series of tourist attractions, among them is the viewpoint, from which you can have a privileged view of the Amazon. The extreme swing The viewpoint You can also take walks, rest in hammocks and visit the cave of the devil's mask
In this cocoa paradise we will have information about the cocoa plants and the production process, we will participate in roasting, cleaning the cocoa and then grinding it to make its base paste. For tourists who want to try it, it has an extra price of 2 dollars can taste a cocoa tea, a cup of chocolate and a cassava tortilla with cheese
We pass through the city of Puyo, known as the city of Cinnamon, considered the heart of the Amazon.

This tour was the overall best variety of activities & value for the money that I had experienced in Banos. It was a long and full day, but certainly worth it! The highlights for me were the waterfall hike and the Finca Mirador viewpoint with the "extreme" swing. Our guide Pedro was great as well. He was kind, considerate, and made sure we kept to the schedule.
It was honestly the coolest tour I did. However, it was marketed as English tour guide poorly. I was the only fluent English speaking person on tour, and I did not get out of the tour as I would have with a fully English tour. I did have a guide who spoke English, but not fluently. I understand I’m in another country and I’m okay to be immersed, and again it was an amazing tour, just the marketing of it was misleading.

This is an exciting and affordable way to see many aspects of the Amazon. Everything occurred as described. I enjoyed everything that was included however, it went on way too long for me. I thought I was prepared for such a long day but at one point I was over it. I opted out of the Finca Mirador and the chocolate demo. After seeing pictures of the Mirador viewpoint, do NOT skip this. The view is amazing and I wish I'd seen it in person. If I had the choice to remove anything from the tour, I would opt not to visit the indigenous community. It just didn't feel right. It felt performative and no one looked happy. The only time a few community members expressions changed were when there were personal interactions with people from the tour. I would still recommend this tour and would do it again either with fewer stops or would pay more and do 1.5 days of the tour.

Had a lot go good experiences on this tour. The pick-up arrived on schedule, and connected us with the larger group. The hike to the waterfall and dip in the pool was the highlight of the day. I do feel like the lunch stop could've been shortened, since we spent a lot of time just waiting before and after the meal. Also, the visit to the 'village' was a bit uncomfortable since it made a spectacle of the inhabitants, and also included animals being forcibly used for photographs with some eager tourists.

This tour is the best value for money you could ask for. You do such a variety of activities and it is paced really well. The guide is helpful if you need to ask questions but most of the time you are just happy to be doing the activities. Thanks Pedro and the team.

For the price, you get so much from this tour. I couldn’t believe how many different things we got to see (yes, I know it’s outlined in the itinerary but still) from hiking in the Amazon to a waterfall to a canoe ride to an indigenous village. When I arrived, I was the only English-speaker so the tour was given in Spanish and I could ask parts to be translated. This was not a big problem, and it did help with my comprehension! Our tour guide however would lead us to one place and go sit while we explored, no offering to take pictures and very little explanation of what we were looking at. As the only solo traveler on the tour, I had guides from other groups offer to take my photo at certain places and some very nice people on my tour who played photographer. Still, it would’ve been nice for the guide to offer to help take at least a few photos both for me and for the couples on the tour. That being said, it was a really nice day. Highly recommend this trip overall!

This is an amazing day tour into the Amazon rainforest. It's a long day but totally worth it. Christoph and Paulito have been fantastic. Plenty of stops along the way so that the drive never feels long. Some of the views are spectacular. The walk through the rainforest to the waterfall was very nice. Meeting the indigenous community and all their animals was a great experience too. Highly highly recommend this tour if you are in Banos.
