The Cave of Melissani in Kefalonia is situated just outside Sami. It is one of the most dramatic places for tourists to visit in Greece. There is a beautiful lake inside the cave that has pretty trees and forests surrounding it. The cave itself is B-shaped. The roof of one of the halls caved in centuries ago letting beautiful sunlight filter in. The depth of the lake is 20 to 30 meters. After a short transfer time you will have the chance to take a boat ride on the lake. There are approx 7 rowing boats that take about 10 people in each. The guides explain how the lake was formed.
Go for photoshooting to Myrtos Beach Famous View Point , one of the most popular attractions in Kefalonia. It is located 29km North of Argostoli, in a charming area surrounded by beautiful hills. Myrtos beach has gained worldwide reputation. It has been voted best beach in Greece many times!
We pass by the beautiful Lagoon of Argostoli , next to the old bridge , and the favourite place were the Turtles Careta Careta swim .if we have time we will stop as well .

A phenomenal tour with the fantastic Giota who gave us an in depth overview of the island and its history. Added a bonus beach stop plus the caves. I had an amazing experience thanks to our wonderful tour guide Giota! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our trip took us to Myrtos beach, Melissani lake, Antisamos beach and Drogarati cave. Antisamos beach was not part of the tour I booked but was an added surprise. I loved everything but my favorites were Myrtos beach and Melissani lake. The color of the water was so beautiful. We were provided water and umbrellas to use at Myrtos. Antisamos has free sun beds if you buy a drink. Antisamos beach was featured in the movie Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. Giota was so helpful throughout the experience. I highly recommend this tour!

It was a wonderful experience. Definitely love it. Giota did a really good job in driving and introducing the island! The scenery was amazing. We had a really good time in the caves and at the beach. Already looking forward to the next trip to Kefalonia!
