Experience

El Enemigo sensational! Wonderful architecture, excellent service! Domitian as well! The third place we went to eat, the food was wonderful (Cina Cina), but the wines of the Vistantes winery left much to be desired.

Better tasting, better lunch, feeling at home.

One of the best explanations and visits that we had, a tip, the big cellars = status, wonderful buildings, plus the quality they have, family cellars = feel at home, welcomed, double attention. We had a tasting in the Cassone family that for me, competes with all the great quietly, Antigal is another that we got stupid with such quality of the wines, the service and the tasting. Now Don Manuel Villafane, it's the best lunch you'll ever have.

Not value for money! Do not recommend.

DO NOT RECOMMEND This tour is absolutely not worth the money. The wineries were ok but very stingy with their tastings. On one winery they showed us 4 different wines and said you can only taste one! In about the same price we had done a tour the day before which included 4 wineries with very generous tastings and they even offered to open more bottles if we wanted to taste a different wine. They made us feel very welcome and that made such a difference in our experience. We felt cheated in this tour. The restaurant where we had our lunch had terrible service with ok ok food. And we had to pay half the cost even though we had no drinks and no desserts! Again, in comparison, the day before we had fantastic lunch with wine pairings and excellent personalized service. This tour was the only negative experience we had in our entire trip to Argentina unfortunately.

Wineries in Mendoza

A very good experience, the transfer was perfect and always on time. The first winery, La Rural, very interesting and well explained and good tasting. The second, Tempus Alba, was colder but we tasted good wines, nothing exceptional. In general, I recommend it. We took this one which was cheaper because my daughter doesn't drink and I didn't want to invest a lot, but there are hundreds of wineries that I still want to visit in Mendoza. The lunch was very good and well served, The company was very helpful and had good service, a 10 rating.

Wonderful tours but lousy booking experience.

The wines and the food were outstanding on our 2 tours, both tastings followed by paired lunches with spectacular views of the mountains. However, we did experience a distasteful issue with Mr Winery We were quoted one price on a Friday, I told them to book it on Monday and Tuesday they increase the price. I was leaving on Thursday for Argentina, and without time to explore other options. Their explanations for the price increase were different each time I questioned them, none of the answers satisfactory. I can't recommend Mr Winery to future travelers.

Mendoza, a beautiful walk.

The wineries are very interesting. We know a little about the history behind wine production as well as its evolution in processes. We enjoyed the incredible view and took lots of photographs. Just two small notes: 1 - At the first winery, there was initially a little confusion and we were charged for entrance fees. While we were taking the tour, our driver Alejandro, realizing that something was not correct, intervened at reception, clarifying that it was a previously contracted package, and the amount was immediately refunded to us. 2 - At lunch (full), despite there being a menu, they limited our orders to just two options at each stage (starter, main course and aftertaste). This limitation was not included when booking the tour. In the end, they suggested that we should pay for the postre (dessert). I clarified that it was a previously contracted package, with (full lunch). Furthermore, our congratulations to the driver Alejandro, for his attention, knowledge and kindness.
