The Uffizi Gallery is the oldest museum in the world and it is very large it is not easy to find what you want in more the rows to enter inside can sometimes be 3-4 hours of waiting. Don’t waste your time in the big line...!!! The Uffizi Gallery is the oldest and most important museum in the world, we will relive the life of the Medici family, from the rise to power to the fall. We will discover together who was Botticelli's Venus, the works of Leonardo Da Vinci and Raphael. We will analyse the Gothic part and all the Florentine Renaissance, Michelangelo, Piero della Francesca. Please remember tickets are not included in the price i will buy the tickets in advance for you and you pay me when you get to Florence before we start the tour. Mary was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable! The Uffizi Gallery can be overwhelming with the amount of works so having a guide move us from room to room explaining the significant pieces was wonderful!
Katerina, our tour guide was fabulous. She was very friendly, informed, and very knowledgeable about the art pieces. Highly recommend this private tour especially if it's you first time visiting the gallery.

Crowded and rushed. Too crowded to actually spend time viewing each piece. Overpriced for the experience provided.
Meeting up with our guide did not go so well, and I don't understand why. We were there before the time, but the email he sent to clarify where was sent 1-2 hours before and I wasn't looking at email then. We finally met up, but then he said wait here... another guide came and told us we were with her now. Really don't understand that. The new guide was good, maybe spent a little long at each picture but was very knowledgeable.
Tickets were NOT included in the price, they asked for cash when we got there. Audio transmitters didn't work well. Our guide was great though, so that's why I couldn't just give 1 star.

Elvis is a fantastic guide that walked us through the Uffizi guiding us through the Renaissance arts inception and emergence, it's peak, and ultimate decline. He ties the different paintings and stories together creating a super experience for any art & history lovers.
