Experience the city, costumes, tradictions and gastronomy! Althought this visit is oriented for the wine of the region (Vinho Verde), we will give you a overview of the city of Guimarães itself. In the heart of Minho region we find the first portuguese capital. Today still keeps it's medieval look and structure, that we will stop to admire and have a lunch break between wineries visits. You will visit (and taste) the production of two fantastic farms in the region. An older one with Vinho Verde production for centuries. And a second visit, in a young and bold project located in a charming location. We will wait for you. Cheers!

Ricardo was excellent balancing the historical aspects of the city of Guimaraes and the Vino Verde region. We visited 2 amazing small wine producers with truly farm to table service. A special treat to visit this part of Portugal.
We had only just arrived in the hotel in the old city but the tourist office recommended Peddy tours and we phoned him..came In 10 mins and spoke excellent English. Great fun going through the narrow streets in the old town and he pointed out the various sights as well as the fascinating history. Very good value start to our discovery of beautiful Guiamaraes.
