Great tour! Went with my 16 year old and we both really enjoyed it. The tour guide, Andy, was knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend!
Andy is fantastic! He is the sole person doing these tours. He was raised in the area and takes you to the best hidden spots in Victoria and gives a lot of history about the area. When you book this tour, you’re truly supporting local - and that’s a big deal for me, personally. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
So fun! Very interesting and awesome food. Highly recommend.
Hello Tanya, Thank you for the review and positive feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the tour so much and would recommend it to others as a fun thing to do in Victoria. All the best and safe travels, Andy
This was one of the highlights of our time in Victoria! We enjoyed the small group size, and our guide was outstanding. As we walked through the city, he shared fascinating historical and cultural insights about each neighborhood and restaurant we visited. In fact, he personally knew the owners of each establishment and shared their stories, making every stop feel meaningful. And of course, literally every bite was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Victoria through its history, its people, and its incredible food!

This was the best food tour I’ve ever been on! Andy was super knowledgeable and his choice of stops was inspired. We took the lunch tour and had a full meal in 6 stops. With over 40 years living in the historic area of Victoria, he knew all the little tidbits that make a tour special.

Man, I can not say enough nice things about this tour. There was excellent food, great recommendations for a later date, historical facts, anecdotes, and information about architecture. He took us on a casual stroll through beautiful spaces while giving us information that might not have been put together otherwise. It is obvious when someone both loves what they do, and has the knowledge to give a great experience. Everyone should take this tour - for the food, the history, the beauty of the city, and the company. I would argue there isn't a better tour in viator in Victoria in ANY category.
Hello Amy, Thank you for the review and positive feedback. I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour so much and found it to be the best you’ve ever been on! I look forward to seeing you back in town before too long. All the best and safe travels, Andy
Fantastic! We went to places in town and businesses that we would never have found out about - or dared go to. Andy is such a warm-hearted guide and clearly has huge respect and admiration for the business owners whose produce he showcases. As a local resident of Chinatown he is ideally placed to give genuine insights into what it is like to live in such a multicultural area. (Who knew the majority of residents of Victoria’s Chinatown are not of Chinese descent?!) This tour finished up feeling like a tour of world foods… as befits such a culturally diverse and inclusive city. Well worth trying to do the tour towards the start of your time in. Victoria, since Andy offers QR-code access to a website he has built up with local recommendations of places to eat and visit. Absolutely worthwhile👍
