2 hours of walking the old part of the City taking imm main attractions and covering the history of Verona.
Very knowledgeable guide and made visiting the town so much easier. Gave a general overview of city and made us comfortable exploring other areas afterwards.
Tour operator contacted us via WhatsApp at 11:30pm to cancel the tour scheduled for 8:30am the following morning. We were already asleep by that hour, so did not know of the cancellation until morning. They did not update Viator with the cancellation, so our refund was delayed. They were slow to respond to Viator, so we had to share screen shots of Whatapp messages in order to get the refund processed. Tour operator continued to insisted upon communicating via WhatsApp even after we reinforced that all further communications needed to be done via Viator. Viator finally refunded the charge, but did not account for the credit that had been applied to the booking, so we are still waiting for the credit to be reinstated. This was all an unacceptable interrupt in what is our only day in Verona, Italy. We have no tour, no other tours are now available for this morning, we’ve gone back and forth repeatedly — wasting valuable time. Moreover, the tour operator is still advertising all sorts of times this morning when this tour is supposedly available! We think they may be scammers that hook, book and then evade the refund process.
We had a wonderful time with Olympia. She was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. Verona is an amazing city full of nooks and crannies.
Very kind and very practical explanation
We were four people, arrriving on train from Padova [on a trip from Australia], it was a Sunday morning in Verona, we met our guide Valentina at exactly the appointed time and place easily and who in a couple of hours showed us around and explained the old city sights at an easy pace as we are elderly and even better, booked us into a restaurant by the river so we had a lovely long lunch afterwards.
This was a great walking tour. We learned so much history. Ellettra was very knowledgeable and a super great personality! Definitely recommend!
The tour guide, Marthina was very knowledgeable, with all the local places to eat and drink. Very personable guide. The sites chosen were very interesting. We fully enjoyed it
Our guide Olympia was excellent. Wide knowledge base of history of Verona & background which she readily shared with us in a very friendly and positive manner. She covered many of the historical sites in the 2 hour tour, which was perfect for our requirements as we were visiting Verona for a day. Thanks, Olympia for making this experience such a special one for us.
They blew the guided tour because of the guide's "illness." If that's true, a serious society should have replaced it, but the suspicion that they blew it up because they didn't reach me number of people is strong. In both cases it is an indication of low seriousness
