Elizabeth was a great host for this fun and tasty adventure. She lives Venice and it made it extra fun to try the local foods. We didn’t live everything we tried, but there was a good variety so no one left hungry. Gelato is the best way to end a food tour!!
A must when you’re in Venice. It was a very entertaining tour of local places with delicious food. The pace was perfect. Chantal is very familiar with the city, its history and customs
Very interesting & informative. Got to go to places we wouldn’t have gone on our own. Getting the local view on the area. There were options if there were particular foods that weren't to your taste but it’s a food tour & for us it meant trying things you wouldn’t necessarily order.
Stopped by 4 street food places, tried 7-8 things, plus a gelato shop at the end. Very delicious! Also learned a lot about the area from our guide.
Some cities are discovered with the eyes – Venice is discovered with all the senses. Thanks to Elisabeth, our food market tour became a journey through the history, culture, and soul of this unique city. Amidst winding alleys, traditional establishments, and the aromas of Venetian cuisine, she passionately shared the stories of Venice and the origins of the Aperol Spritz. Each stop was a small culinary gem, each bite a piece of Venetian lifestyle. With charm, knowledge, and genuine warmth, Elisabeth wonderfully blended the past and present. Anyone who truly wants to experience and taste Venice should not miss this tour with Elisabeth. An unreserved recommendation and an experience that resonates long after.
Nice variety of food to sample with several options to choose from. Our tour guide Elisabeth was fantastic, had a great attitude and sense of humor.
We loved our guide and the excellent food choices. A really great value for the money spent with five spots along the way
Amazing variety of food, consider this the price of a meal because you will be full after the tour. you will meet new friends, eat new foods, and have a great time. There will be options. Our tour guide ELIZABETH was wonderful.
Fun to sample ciccetti and learn a little history along the way. It would be better for our crowd to have foods that appealed to all ages. The pre-teens and young adults didn’t especially like some of the samples. Also the weather was super hot so that made it more difficult to appreciate.
Fantastic trip, where we got to taste many different local Cicchetti, and Risoto, and disposed with a lovely Gealeto Tone was an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge and told about Venice’s history and how the city was built up.
