Venice: Small Group Pasta Cooking Class with Francesco!

One of the highlights of our trip. Francesco is very caring and patient. The food is amazing and the prosseco flowing. Very special atmosphere too (beautiful place and live music!). We highly recommend. 😊

This was a fantastic experience. We’ve done a few cooking classes in Venice. Some are in more commercial kitchens. This one was in Francesco’s home. We selected the spaghetti and meatballs option. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time sharing a bottle of wine, chatting about world travels, and cooking an amazing meal. I highly recommend this experience.

This was the most amazing Venetian experience. 100 stars, I recommend everyone taking his class. Francesco is so kind, genuine, and talented. He welcomes you into his home, you have a one on one experience. He teaches you his mom’s generational cooking, and plays the most beautiful songs on his guitar with beautiful views of Venice. Worth every penny and more!!!

If you are looking for a cooking experience where you feel relaxed, at home and with friends, this is for you. Francesco welcomed us into his exquisite home with one of the best views in Venice! We made truly delicious food an d my daughter is now insisting I buy all the necessary tools and ingredients for when we arrive back home. And to settle our full stomachs, we were treated to glorious live music. An experience we will never forget.

Choose this experience! Chef Francesco’s Italian Cooking + Guitar Concert Class is absolutely the best ! Not only is he talented, charming, generous and knowledgable, but a GREAT teacher! We left Francesco's kitchen, not only confident in our pasta and bolognese making skills, but with a new understanding of regional ingredients and local treasures. Francesco was an incredible host! He really took the time to get to know me and my interests before hopping into the cooking. It really felt like cooking with a new friend. It was a very comfortable experience, which was important to me as a female solo traveler. Together we made a delicious bolognese with homemade tagliatelle and tiramisu! After the meal Francesco played a song on his guitar and it was lovely. If you want an authentic and more personal cooking experience, I highly recommend this class. Thanks Francesco!

Francesco's class was a very special and unique experience! After a short tour of the beautiful and interesting area where he lives we enjoyed fresh bruschetta and wine while he taught me how to make Pasta Carbonara. We rolled out the pasta, cut it on a pasta guitar and then made the sauce from scratch. It was absolutely delicious, and so enjoyable to work with my hands and learn something new. After lunch he played a few lovely songs on the guitar and then was incredibly helpful assisting with my transport back to my other engagements. I would highly recommend this activity with Francesco!

Francesco was amazing from start to finish. The experience is a must do in Venice, it was the highlight of our trip! He was so welcoming, and made us feel at home in his beautiful apartment. He knew lots about Venice and was so enthusiastic to share with us. He even gave us recommendations of places to go or other experiences to do afterwards. We had the best time with Francesco! He was an amazing host and immediately made us feel welcome. The food was incredible, and we loved the unique opportunity to learn all about Venice and its cuisine. Making pasta was so fun and eating it was even better.
