Itinerary
Our fascinating night tour begins from the picturesque Zattere, a long and historic promenade overlooking the Giudecca Canal, where we will embark on an unforgettable adventure. We will sail gently through the Giudecca Canal, where the city reflects its beauty on the calm waters of the lagoon. Our first point of interest is the majestic Molino Stucky, an imposing brick building that, once an industrial mill, is now one of the most exclusive hotels in Venice: the Hilton Molino Stucky.
Continuing along the quiet canals of Giudecca, we will reach the heart of the lagoon, crossing the suggestive San Marco Basin, a place steeped in history and splendor. Here, you will be surrounded by breathtaking views: on our right, the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, with its imposing basilica designed by Palladio, and on our left the lively island of Giudecca.
We will sail to the characteristic Sestiere di Castello, one of the most authentic and less touristy neighborhoods of Venice. Entering the hidden canals, we will cross the silent Rio dei Greci and the suggestive Rio di San Francesco della Vigna, where you can breathe an atmosphere of peace, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here, a visit to the monumental entrance of the Arsenale of Venice awaits us, a true symbol of the naval power of the Serenissima Republic, which dominates the canal.
Returning to the heart of the city, we will pass in front of the famous Piazza San Marco, illuminated in the evening, a breathtaking sight. This is the true beating heart of Venice, dominated by the iconic Basilica di San Marco and the Campanile, which rise majestically above the square.
Continuing along the majestic Grand Canal, the most famous of the Venetian canals, we will be enchanted by the view of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, a masterpiece of Venetian Baroque that seems to float on the water. The tour will end by crossing the romantic Canal di San Vio, which will gently bring us back to the starting point.

Worst Experience with Viator – Beware Before Booking! On 10th September 2025 in Venice, we faced one of the most shocking and distressing travel experiences of our lives. Our tour ,A night boat tour ,which we had booked more than a month before was confirmed right up until 8:45 p.m. on the due date for a 9:00 p.m. start. When we contacted Viator even 15 minutes before, a Viator representative kept assuring us that the boat would arrive and we were asked to wait. We were already at the location – a deserted, lonely area at night – waiting in good faith. At 9:00 p.m., there was no tour. When we called Viator their representative gave us the contact number of the operator we called him and to our shock he casually told us he had no booking!!!!!We were left stranded, confused, and unsafe. As senior citizens in a foreign country, this was terrifying. To make matters worse, a suspicious looking person started following us while we searched for help, and only by sheer luck did our taxi arrive on time to get us out of that situation.Viator’s handling was appalling. There was no contact, no apology, and no acknowledgement from them until a couple of days back-when they finally agreed to issue a refund – as if that solved everything. They even had the audacity to say “if you want more, contact the vendor.” Excuse me, but what is Viator’s accountability if not to stand behind the vendors they promote and the bookings they collect money for? Viator lures customers into activities – many of which clearly do not even exist – without verifying quality or reliability. They take your money at full price, pay vendors at half the rate, and when things go wrong, they wash their hands of all responsibility and push you toward the vendor. This is misleading, unsafe, and deeply unprofessional. Travelers book through Viator because of Viator’s name, not the unknown vendor’s. It is Viator’s duty to ensure safety, reliability, and proper service. They failed on every front. I strongly recommend: DO NOT TRUST VIATOR. You can be left stranded at night in a lonely, unsafe place, with zero support or accountability from them. For us, this was not just disappointing – it was dangerous.
Dear hks448, we are truly sorry to read your review, but it is important to clarify that this issue was caused by a platform bug, not by our direct handling of the service. We fully understand your frustration, but we do not see why such harsh words should be directed at us, especially considering that you have already received a full refund. Our team works every day with dedication to provide safe, authentic, and high-quality experiences in Venice. Posting negative reviews – sometimes even repeated or identical ones – just to damage those who work honestly is not a civil attitude, and it misleads travelers who are looking for genuine information. Kind regards,

This was a night tour along the main channel and some smaller canals of Venice. It is on an open boat. The boarding area was bit hard to find because there no signs and this is not a big, fancy ship. However we were able to find it on time. Our captain, David, was very friendly and knowledgeable and he pointed out the main landmarks visible from the boat. He also gave us information about the history of the city and policies that continue to shape this area. He was also kind enough to drop us off near the railway station at the end of the 90 minute tour to help us get back quicker. Remember to bring a waterproof jacket and/or head covering as it can be chilly and wet. In summary, this was a great experience!
Amazing experience. Very knowledgeable and very detailed!! Took us to different sections of Venice and shared a lot of knowledge.
Honestly, this is a must if you’re in Venice! Incredible storytelling throughout the journey, and we got to see a lot of hidden parts of the city. The atmosphere was amazing! Thank you, guys!
We had a great time with the captain and Alessio during the boat trip through the hidden canals and the lagoon of Venice. There were 5 other people on this tour, and the captain explained very well where we were going and what we would see before we set off. Finding the boat was very easy. He told us many interesting things and answered all our questions; he was both fun and informative. He showed us a submarine and the artwork of Lorenzo Quinn up close; it was amazing to see it from the water! Halfway through the tour, we stopped for a snack with prosecco and chips, a much-appreciated traditional aperitivo on the boat! We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn while having fun cruising around by boat. Thank you, guys!
I went on the tour with my family and the kids had a great time. The Guide was very nice and engaging, making everything interesting even for the little ones. A perfect way to experience Venice in total relaxation.
Venice at night has its own charm, and being able to experience it on a boat with friends was one of the best decisions. The tour was organized very well, the Guide was friendly and helpful, and allowed us to see hidden corners and little tourist. All accompanied by a pleasant breeze and a glass of prosecco. A great way to close the evening! 🙂
To celebrate a birthday I booked a night tour in bragozzo with 5 friends. We did not expect great things being all Venetians and instead we were very impressed by the professionalism, sympathy and foresight with which this tour was created. We started from the Zattere and bypassed the Giudecca entering the basin of San Marco from behind San Giorgio... and there you open your heart. The view of the square illuminated with the play of light on the water is something splendid. Then we went around the inner canals of Castello and between laughter and prosecco the two hours of the tour flew by. What about, really nice and well done!! Highly recommended!
