Venice, Murano, and Burano Excursion from Jesolo-Punta Sabbioni





Description
Starting from Punta Sabbioni, the first stop of the tour is San Marco ( no stop) . Next the boat will go to Murano, an island renowned worldwide for its centuries-old tradition of blown glass. Accompanied by your expert guide, you will visit one of the still active kilns where you can attend a demonstration on glass working and where there will be the opportunity to buy handmade products. Next, you will be heading to Burano, the island of lace and colored houses. At this point, the tour will proceed to Venice. You will reach the piers near the famous St. Mark Square, where you will have free time to explore the city. If you choose the 9.15, 10.00 or 10.30 am departure from Punta Sabbioni, you will arrive in Venice where you can start the tour spending free time there and then leave for Murano and Burano at 1.00 pm, instead.

This excursion was very well organized and the guide reported very interesting facts about the islands and buildings during the crossings. The only note: the stay in Burano and Murano was too short. We would have liked more time here.
A good way to get to Murano/Burano/Venice as easily as possible. The "demonstration" in the glass-blowing workshop could have been saved. Duration 5min. Explanations: incomprehensible. Otherwise, the trip can be described as a trip by "taxi boat". The ship was relatively worn. Exhaust gases on deck.
Very nice guide. Even if he is a foreigner, he speaks 5 languages. I learned and saw many beautiful things. Unforgettable experience together with my family.
