Great experience learning to make pasta with Sebastien. He met us nearby his apartment and we went back and learned a lot about making pasta. As a Venetian, he had interesting insights on the city and cooking. He has a beautiful redone kitchen with spectacular views of the canal which made the experience even more special. I would recommend this tour to any one interested in cooking and looking for something a little different in Venice.
amazing class in Venice . really recommended a must see in Venice my son was mesmerized really recommended, really recommended
Besides the food being delicious, the place was very special. At someone’s home on a little ranch with memorabilia that speaks volumes about their kindness and uniqueness. They really made us feel at home and showed us real and authentic love for food. We almost missed our flight because we didn’t want to leave. We will be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with Antoinette. It was a small group of 9 altogether and we had a nice rapport. We were surprised how long it takes to knead dough to the right consistency but what fun. We also made a delicious bruschetta. We watched her demonstrate and listened to her friends translate. Her hospitality was wonderful with a mid-class snack and a sit down meal, much of our own making, with wine and a take home treat. It took place in a delightfully decorated cottage behind her home outside the walls of Lucca rather than in a restaurant as originally stated. Would highly recommend.
Brilliant day thank you so much ladies fabulous 😘 Wonderful experience and delicious lunch great setting
An experience I will cherish forever! The location was beautiful and our host and teacher was excellent! Such a lovely warm atmosphere and great food!
Antonietta and her lovely translator made our group-of-two cooking class a memorable experience. The food was out of this world, and so fresh with many of the ingredients directly from the garden! The drinks added to the fun. The relaxing chat during the meal made us feel right at home. And the pasta cooking tips were invaluable. Thanks for a great lunch! A cooking class with Antonietta and her Lucca team is most highly recommended!
It was really fantastic! The people and especially Antoinetta care about food with heart and soul. They absolutely make sure you have a good time. It may be just making pasta, but there are all kinds of things on the table and you don’t have to eat anymore at night. Absolutely just do it! I just can't recommend you do it through Tripadvisor. Really bad communication and they gave no address and the wrong time. Called and then I did. It wasn't the course, super!
Five of us joined two others at Antoinetta's home. We were greeted with coffee and felt immediately welcomed. We cooked, ate, drank, laughed and had a wonderful unique Italian afternoon with our host, the chef, her translator and assistant. It was truly the hightlight of our trip to be part of this fun and unique experience.
Class was super informative and great. The cook was helpful and the final food was exquisite. Bon appetite
