This 1.5-hour evening Legends and Anecdotes walking tour takes you on a journey to the city’s hidden corners, with an expert guide who recounts some anecdotes, stories and other legends as you walk. Recoil at gruesome facts about Biasio, the child-killing butcher of Venice; see from outside the beautiful and reputedly haunted Bovolo staircase; and hear strange and sinister tales about Venice.

Here's where you'll meet you ghost and legends guide in the middle of the square by the statue.
Discover the amazing architecture of Contarini Palace with its spiral staricase known as "Bovolo" (Venetian word that means snails) and elarn about its legend.
Many ghost stories refers to palaces, some of them now converted in hotels and our guide will entertain you with many stories and anecdotes related to people that have lived in here.
We go down this small alley, called Rio' Tera' degli Assassini (the street of the murderers), perfect setting for the many "scary" stories that took place in this secret corner of Venice.
Stop by this hidden away little square where the guide will narrate some truesome stories about a butcher family that lived here.....
Stop by a famous hotel where many weird things and facts happened long ago; the guide will entertain you with the ghosts of the past that are still present here.

Nice guide, interesting facts, but not what we were expecting and barely any ghost stories. Not many interesting parts for kids either..
Valentine, our tour guide, was outstanding!! He really knew all about the city of Venice and it's spooky stories and secrets. He was funny and personable. We had a blast on the tour and loved getting to know such a beautiful city in such a creative and intimate way.

This was an interesting tour. Valentine took us to places that we would not have found without him. We enjoyed the stories and are pleased that we attended the tour.
The tour was OK. Sincerely paying 35 euros for the tour has been excessive. The guide explained things well and told us good stories but we expected more interesting or curious places. I could have explained things a little more dynamically and with more emotion. That I can convey that fear or experience better.
Lorenzo was brilliant and informative, friendly and provided a lovely experience for everyone with an in-depth history of the city.
