It is the oldest of the four bridges on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. Connecting the sestieri (districts) of San Marco and San Polo, it has been rebuilt several times since its first construction as a pontoon bridge in 1173, and is now a significant tourist attraction in the city.
It is one of only four bridges in Venice on the Grand Canal. The bridge connects the sestieri of Santa Croce and Cannaregio. Designed by Eugenio Miozzi, it was completed in 1934, replacing an Austrian iron bridge. It is a stone arch bridge.

The boat ride was fine the narration was very lacking . We could not hear the guide at all and he could not answer some pretty basic questions about Venice. I would not do this tour again- it was not worth the money. If nothing else the guide needs to invest in a microphone.
Dear Jessica, Thank you for your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that the tour didn’t meet your expectations. That said, we were somewhat surprised by your comments. According to our guide’s report, several members of your group appeared disinterested from the beginning, with some choosing to sit in outside areas of the boat. As explained before departure, those seats make it difficult to hear the narration clearly. Despite this, our guide made multiple efforts to adapt, engage, and share relevant insights. At times, there seemed to be limited willingness to interact, which unfortunately makes it harder to deliver a meaningful, personalized experience. We always strive to provide high-quality, informative tours, and we appreciate feedback that helps us grow. We’re sorry this experience didn’t resonate with your group, and we hope the rest of your time in Venice was more enjoyable. Best regards, Park Viaggi
They were on time, very helpful and kind. They knew all the information for anything we asked! Great Tour
