Lovely guide with clear voice and also headsets to use. A lot of standing though which we hadn’t expected as it was described specifically as a walking tour so we would have liked to have seen more and had less detail during the long standing periods.
Great overview of Venice, lots of interesting facts, plenty of narrow alleys and bridges with steps.
A very interesting tour around many of the quieter streets but also including the main highlights . Michelle, our guide, was a local Venetian who shared fascinating information about historical and current Venice. I appreciated the recommendations for eating and drinking out. There was a lot of walking, including up and over the many bridges so not really suitable for the less mobile (to be fair, this sums up travelling around Venice!)
This Venice walking tour was a great mix of famous sights and authentic local life. We didn’t see key landmarks like St. Mark’s Square due to a big event in the city but saw the Rialto Bridge, and also explored quieter neighborhoods away from the crowds. The highlight was learning about everyday life for Venetians—their routines, challenges, and hidden spots you wouldn’t find on your own. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, making the experience both informative and personal. Perfect if you want more than just sightseeing and a real feel for Venice.
Great way to get history of the city and insight into activities and restaurants to visit from a local guide.
Our guide was lovely but was in a very challenging position of unruly participants who were late and then kept wandering off so we spent a lot of time waiting around for them. It really ruined the experience.
It was a good experience to be guided by Julia. Knowledgable, showing pictures, local and providing her recommendations on where to eat and what to to. I would recommend this to a friend.
The tour was good and very informative. Like the tour guide. Through the tour I understand quite a lot of Venice history and background.
