Interesting tour. Worth your time.

Orsola met us at St. Marks square and walked us around Venice. She took a few minutes to ask about our experiences in Venice so she would not duplicate. She had some interesting insights about the history of Venice and Venice culture. We learned that Venice will repurpose a building rather than rebuild. We decided to stop for a drink and continued to ask questions from Orsola. She is full of information. We enjoyed our time in Venice very much. Orsola was a delight.

Highly recommend this Venice tour

The tour was for a maximum of 12 people. I was with my brother and we were very lucky we had the guide to ourselves. It was during carnival time in Venice and was very busy. Monica our guide was very informative, too us to a great vantage point for photos at the Grand Canal. Once we left the very St Mark's Square we were taken to various other parts of city which we would never have found or ventured to. It was a great day out and Monica was so lovely. I would highly recommend this tour.

Understanding Venice.

We took this walking tour with our wonderful guide, Marialaura (Mary) to try and get a better sense of what Venice is as a community. Everyone does the major tourist sites but this gave us insights into how Venice developed and who has influenced its development. Although our third trip here, this tour finally helped put the whole picture of Venice as a community into perspective. Mary’s knowledge and enthusiastic delivery wrapped all of our previous knowledge into a broad understanding of what Venice is today. Our walk took us to parts of the city we would never otherwise have seen. An Invaluable experience that finally put this wonderful group of islands into perspective. Thanks Mary and Babylon Tours.
