Tour operator somehow didn't get my booking even though I'd paid, so after hoofing it to the meet point to make it on time I found that I didn't actually have a tour for that evening. To their credit they immediately issued a refund, which is why this review isn't one star, though overall this doesn't seem like a very professional operation if they can somehow miss a booking while collecting the payment in the first place, wouldn't recommend booking if you like actually keeping your evening plans.
Poor communication during our travel left us high and dry. We were expecting to enjoy an evening touring the city and rushed through dinner just to get there in time to find out that the tour had been cancelled due to lack of participation. We were told we were sent a message, which we never received, especially since we arrived to Italy from the U.S. just that day. We were refunded our money after communicating with Viator, but the fact that poor communication left a huge time gap for us to meander around the city on our own was disappointing. The tour company and or guide could definitely do better.
We had a great evening with a local guide. Our entire family had a fantastic time exploring and learning together. Highly recommended!
