The kayaking was so much fun! Highly recommend! It wasn’t too crowded and our guide was amazing! Great for beginners or experienced people, fun for the family or just solo. Enjoy the views on the water and learn more about the history.
I was a super beginner. Sebastian was patient and helped me figure it out. Towards the end of the tour I started to figure it out. It was the best introduction to kayaking and venice
Wonderful experience. Very educational. Such a unique experience to be on the water!
our guide was wonderful took us in very quiet csnals. Sebastian was very knowlegable.
Very kind guides. Fun experience. No bathing suit needed.
Sebastian was great, it’s a very interesting experience
What a great experience to have with my two teens (14 and 17). There was a warm welcome from the team on arrival, great safety explanation and introduction. We were all kept safe and together in our group, nobody left behind! Highly recommended for anyone fancying a different experience in Venice!
Do not miss this wonderful experience; just meeting Marco and Francesca made the afternoon worthwhile. We were blessed with perfect weather, 20 Celsius, clear and dry. I am an avid kayaker and kayaking on the "streets" of Venice put one more notch on my paddle. I'm a "skip the tour where you follow a little flag kind of guy", so I'd rather do this than spend 95 Euro on a short Gondola ride. For those who love details, like myself, like everywhere else in Venice, finding the location is a wonderful adventure of discovery in itself. Marco's setup is very impressive. I brought a cheap slip-on rubber slippers, but you can easily do this barefoot. I also brought a bathing suit but neither my feet nor my butt got wet. Getting in and out of the boat is just a matter of slipping in and out from a perfectly-placed door on the canal. I left my shoes in his shop and he has a bunch of lock boxes for any valuables. It's all safe anyway once he locks up the alleyway door. Don't hesitate. Put this incredible experience on your itinerary. Thank you so much, Marco! Do come visit me in Nashville. Oh, and of course, bring along the lovely Francesca when you do. Ciao!
A lovely way to explore Venice and experience a different point of view. A chance to paddle down some quiter canals and into the lagoon and back again. Perfect if you are short on time. You can take clothes to change into there. It's a bit tricky to find, down the end of a side street but there is a sign on the door. Highly recommend it was a great experience!
This tour is a great alternative to a gondola ride. You will see plenty of gondolas along the way, and you'll cruise through essentially the same canals. The wake from passing boats will get you wet, so unless you bring a change of clothes, don't plan on going to dinner after this tour. The operators offer clothes changing facilities as well as dry storage containers for items you want to bring along in the kayaks. It was fun, and the guides were always on the lookout for our safety.
