Great experience overall. Our guide, Elizabeth, was amazing. We loved learning about the history of the food, and Elizabeth was keen on ensuring we tried food actual Venetian locals eat and love. Would recommend to any traveler of Venezia!
Our guide was knowledge and friendly. The diversity of food options and venues was great! I was 100% recommend!
We really enjoyed the tour with Ana, our guide. She was very knowledgeable about venetian food culture and made the tour good fun. The food was all delicious and we loved the Ombre 😁. The size of the tastings suprised us as they were all pretty big, so we were quite full by the end of the tour. As the tour was called "Venetian ciccheti food tasting and sightseeing tour" I did expect to see some of the key sights, however the only sight was the Realto bridge. So if you're looking for a tour that takes in some sights, this is not the tour for you. However it was fun and delicious and Ana was awesome.
Elizabeth was an amazing guide! We loved the tour! The food was the perfect mix of delicious & adventurous authentic food. It was our favorite part of our time in Venice!
Excellent tour of Venice with wonderful food to top it off. Our guide, Tone, was fantastic - very friendly, knowledgeable, and set the right pace for our group which included all age ranges (some with walking issues). Highly recommend.
Tone had interesting stories about the history and about the small establishments we visited throughout the food tour. We tried several variaties of Cicchetti. Our knowledge of the streets and history grew tremendously.
Ana the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, taking us to some interesting food places and introducing and explaining the local cuisine and culture. It was a great experience and the time flew by.
Terrible! The host never gave any directions as to how to get to the meeting place. It’s hard to manage through the tiny pathways in Venice and difficult to find specific tiny establishments. He was not helpful at all and angry that we never found the food tour. We tried asking over and over for directions because Venice paths are very hard to navigate. We walked with difficulty for 90 minutes and never found the tour. I told him we were lost but he never gave directions of how to get there. I did not get a refund.
Denys gave us a nice tour of the San Polo district. He was friendly and easy to understand and full of information. We tasted a variety of cicchetti. There were good local traditional fish options as well as some with meat or cheese. I would have liked more samples and even more history/cultural info. We had lots of fun and I would recommend this tour.
