a) walk in national park b) drink spring water BORJOMI c) take cable car Brief information about Borjomi: Borjomi is famous for its mineral water industry (which is the number one export of Georgia). Archaeological excavations have revealed the existence of stone baths in the area, proving that these mineral waters have been utilized by people for thousands of years. Because of the supposed restorative and healing powers of the area's mineral springs, it is a frequent destination for people with health problems. Borjomi is also home to the most extensive ecologically-themed amusement park in the Caucasus. One of the best places to experience this is the “Mineral Water Park” of Borjomi. Borjomi-Kharagauli protected area is one of the largest national parks in Europe.

Then we move to Rabati Castle. Brief information about Rabati Castle: Built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue. In the 13th-16th centuries the castle and its town of Akhaltsikhe had been the residence of the Jakhely princes. A renovated Rabati Castle was opened in Akhaltsikhe in August 2012. Old, nearly destroyed buildings were restored by architects and engineers, using archive materials and images.

Afterwards, we move to ancient city Vardzia (Cave city). Brief information about Vardzia: The underground halls of the “mountain queen,” dug out of the solid rock, Vardzia looks like it was taken directly from the pages of Lord of the Rings. In reality it is a cave-palace-monastery built not by dwarfs, but by Georgians in the Caucasus for our fabled king Tamar, during Golden Ages (12th century).

Disappointing Tour

I have booked many trips wirh viator and was always pleased. However, on this trip we were disappointed. The itinersry is great. We had booked a privite tour with driver and guide. Our driver said very little to us in explainibg things and said a guide wasn't necessary. So he just dropped us off at each location and told us the time to be back. No information on the area or what we shoudl do. Travel time between parks was very long. We were supoose to get home made wine at some stop but the driver knew nothing of that. He also informed us that this is usually a two day tour. If that is the case why was U sold this tour. I paid for services that we did not recieve. Also, the driver spent an excessive amout of time on his cell phone while driving. A very disappointing tour.

Tyler and Victoria explore Georgia

Where to even start. We had a limited amount of time due to our flight later in the evening, and Mamuka made sure we had plenty of time to see things and made sure our trip was very enjoyable. He’s truly a fantastic person, and I would highly recommend him and this tour!

An amazing tour

We went on two tours with Georgian Paradize and both of them were remarkable. Thanks to Mamuka and our guide Zurab who did a great job taking us to the beautiful places in Georgia. We visited castles, cave towns, and other landmarks, and learned more about Georgia and people who lived and live in this great country. Gmadloba, Sakartvelo! Gmadloba, Zurab and Mamuka!

Amazing trip and drive around.

Our guide Natalie was very friendly and was on time. The drive to the different places was safe and we had a good time. Vardzia is amazingly beautiful and completely different tour destination. We enjoyed learning history in the Rabati castle. All in all we had a wonderful time.
